SARS-CoV-2 is alive and spreading

e are not safe:
Only my projections but using math, data provided this is my theory.

World Count Meter Live

Im convinced it's only a matter of time and everyone will eventually be exposed to most likely get the virus...name one person you know who has never had the flu...not everyone will pass away and not everyone will have a difficult case, most won't go to hospital and will recover at  home.

However the world is closing in on one million deaths currently 726,913 and there have been 20 MILLION cases World Wide.  That live count meter up there can break it all down for you. 98% of the people who get it recover, 1.4% die. Herd immunity would be reached at 2/3 of the World Population  infected (67%) Currently world population 7.8 BILLION.
In order for us to reach herd immunity
5,226,000,000 would need to be infected

We can use this data to make predictions...how many deaths could we have:

10 million is 1% of a billion,
therefore multiply that
1.4% of a billion is 114 million
Multiply by 7.8 = 889,200,000 1.4% of the world population
We could have this many deaths at the current infection rate

See what I mean!!
14 days from first symptom to death.  Here in my state 1500 new cases per day our hospitals are at 76% capacity...the rate of testing is 17% positive.

It is actually rather  insane that people think they will escape being infected.  It's almost a given at this point..with the schools now threatening to open the cases will increase at a staggering rate since there is NOTING we have to stop it's forward movement, all we can do is prolong it.  But unless you are immune or live in a bubble, it's a fair bet an infection will occur.

A virus replicates so fast the old cells are shed within 6 hrs of entry to your body...I took this next paragraph from an article dated
Jan 31, 2020 from the American Society of Microbiology should really tell you something about how fast this virus has moved, spread, and no containment has happened!  It is very alarming to think where we were in Jan as to where we are now!

Jan 31,2020
"The top U.S. public health officials report that the COVID-19 outbreak that began in Wuhan, China is not a threat to the average American citizen. Nevertheless, it is important to understand this new human pathogen (in this case, the virus is named SARS-CoV-2 and the disease it causes is called COVID-19), and this article will cover coronavirus basics and what scientists have learned about the virus so far."

Whoa!! In a short time of 5 months it has infected 5 million in the USA and almost 180,000 are dead!! So at the current rate of infection of 22,000 per DAY .....you are not bullet proof.
What do they say if you want to know the future look to the past...ok I'm looking.
1 case 5th day of March to 22,000 per day now...

Currently World wide 164,000 new cases per day. That's 248 new cases per HOUR. How long do you think it will take until one of those cases is you?

Where did we go wrong?? It's very obvious...the "essential work force" that we lazy, self entitled spoiled Americans would not send home back during the shut down! Amazon had to keep shipping the goods, the grocery stores had to stay open, the vitamin shops had to be up and running, the gas had to keep flowing.....That is what kept the ball rolling and the virus spreading.  We never really shut down anything!

It's not if  you will get it, it is When! So get ready as if you were preparing for a hurricane.  Stock your house with enough non perishable food to last you 21 days without leaving.  Fresh produce is going to go first so maybe put in more than usual of frozen veggies, as you know my freezer/fridge could go at any time and I would lose all that so not good for me to do but I just happened to do my doomsday shopping if you recall.  Don't bother with lots of things that you will have to "cook" you won't feel like cooking! Things to heat UP are the best things...this is not going to be a time for any thought given to it, just heat it and eat it!

Stock up on OTC meds, especially for Fever. also for stomach issues, and following the dose instructions on the bottle.  Keep all your prescription meds filled and up to date...you won't be able to go pick anything up.  Even if you have someone to help you they would be taking an enormous risk entering your home.

Find and keep handy your thermometer, get ice packs ready, make a bedside care box with your pain fever reducer, any other meds you need to take daily, tissues, and cloths for wiping your self down a bottle of water to wet that cloth with, change of PJ's and undies close by for night sweats!

Another thing I know is you can make a draw sheet...on your bed, fold a flat sheet in half, or 3rds....place it across the main area of the bed where you lay over your bottom sheet and tuck it in  on the sides, if you spill water or have a sweat fest you can just jerk that draw sheet off to reveal your fresh bottom sheet underneath.  Keep a couple extra pillows within reach too as all the meds gave me reflux! So I had to prop myself up higher than I normally sleep..and when my knees started to have intense pain I used a pillow under  to make them feel better. I think the  illness affects synovial fluid so that's in your joints.

If you have any aids like a cane, walker etc, keep nearby you can and will be dizzy and it can make walking hazardous! I had to wall walk, or hold onto door frames and furniture to steady myself when I was especially feverish and dizzy. I do have a walking stick outside so I wish I had kept one inside!

Keep your bills paid, cause trust me when you're in bed with 102 fever, the last thing you think about is that credit card payment and you quickly lose touch with what day it is! I was able at one point each day to sit up for short periods of time I checked my email, made a post on here, and kept up with some news reports, other than that most of the time I was asleep, or moaning in agony.

Make arrangements with someone you trust ahead of time to check on your pets, your mail, etc if you have to go into hospital, call a friend and agree to do this for each other should the need happen...talk it thru where the key is hidden, what  pets or plants need attention and who ever gets afflicted first the other is called into action with a text or a call or an email.

As long as your breathing is ok and you are cardio-stable, you have no underlying major health concern there is no reason to go to a Dr's office, or clinic.  IF you think you may need help  call an ambulance!

I consider a high out of control fever one of 103 or higher that will not come down after  you take a fever reducing meds and perform interventions such as alcohol wipe down, using ice packs, or even taking a cool shower IF you can stand under a shower.

I used Ibuprofen, but there's others.  Take your temp even if you don't feel feverish like yesterday I felt ok but when I took my temp it was 98.9 Today its 98.7 Some people while recovering come down with other problems one football player was recovering from Covid and came down with strep throat...so be aware of changing symptoms.

So now Im in the recovery period...mainly I get exhausted very easy.  My eye sight is blurry and I feel anxious and jittery.  There is a slight tremor in my hands while Im typing this.  My feet are still swollen a little but I can walk.  The skin blotches are still here....they are more of them even on my face now.

I made myself some breakfast, ate and later I swept up my kitchen area and had to sit down right after.  I'd say be very in tune with your homeostasis...and as it changes you adapt your activity as such.  Later I took a shower...and that gave me out now I'm resting on the sofa.

I thought I may walk to the mailbox but that may not happen, it is not a priority.  So prepare if you live alone to battle alone...there is no way I would expose anyone to this virus...as long as I can manage...there was a couple days in the beginning I would love some help with feeding the dogs but I was able to do it.  That's the thing I could have really used help with.  Back when I had the 2 broken arms that is one chore I could not do for the duration of the time I had casts on my arms using a can opener not happening and I could not lift those heavy dog bowls..the first night alone with the broken arms I gave them each a slice of cheese. and poured some kibble in their bowls

NOW I'm wondering if my dogs will get Covid? Annie was sneezing yesterday but she had been  outside so I thought she may have gotten into some flower pollen or ragweed.  I don't know so far today no sneezing from her.
A virus is not a living organism.  What it does is replicate, and reek havoc inside YOU.  Just like a computer virus it makes things go haywire. So once it's inside YOUR body starts a battle...it knows there is unknown proteins suddenly in, think of your immune system as  your Virus Protection running in the background.  When  you get a virus in your computer the Virus protection program may shut down some essential operations in order to protect the major systems from being corrupted....your body is going to do the same thing when it senses a virus in on board! This is when the trouble starts.

So my advice get ready....stop looking to the Govt, the Health Organizations, your boss, your friend, your tv news to tell you to suit up DO IT...the virus is looking for a host we are under an alien invasion and we are each one a host an AIR B&B if you will for that alien, it's an unfolding scenario and there is NO DATA to protect you for it!! Deny if you will but being prepared sure can't hurt.
