hen it's time to shut up...just close  your mouth.

Ok I feel like typing right now Im going to try and NOT talk about how I feel or don't feel.  Lets just say not much change.  Day 8.

RAIN buckets of it, as Tropical Storm or Hurricane Isiasis? drives bands of water bloated  clouds over my location. I just hope no wind.   Looks as if it will skirt our coastline then actually hit up around Myrtle Beach! Or North of it,,,75 mile per hour wind is no fun..The radar image with the storm tracking is all over the place there must be 15 little spaghetti strings on there so the thing is they really DONT KNOW!!

The trees are water logged so any wind could bring down dead limbs and hopefully we won't have a power outage.  Too hot for that.  The name of this one just escapes me, where is it from.  I can't even say that.  I would rather have numbers anyways Like this would be hurricane 10, 499 or 2020-4 that makes more sense.

Puerto Rico was hit pretty hard, and 3 people died due to this storm.  Storms are not cute so why do they have cute names?  Just more of ridiculous junk that is like Propaganda feed into our reality.  Even the one from 1989 Hugo it hit our HOME very hard,,, 90 mph winds we had to deal with insurance claims, and rebuild a barn, and out buildings, we have 5 big pines toppled over our roof a mess mom's back door blew off, her kitchen flooded, we had no electric for 11 days and it was just horrid the damage done to our town.

So if even I actually meet anyone named Hugo I will have a strong immediate dislike to them due to my mental imprinting of that name with disaster and 6 hrs spent huddled together in the living room wondering if our windows were about to blow out as you can physically feel the room expand with the stronger gust of 130 mph came over!  Even the pine needles on the trees were bent into the shape they blew into...it was so weird to see all the green leaves all over the ground and plastered to windows and siding.

I remember when we walked around with an adjuster who showed up like in 2 days from Traveler's insurance.  On one gable end  5 of our vinyl siding pieces were buckled up and some had sprung and were no longer attached...and I will never forget my husband pointed that out...the adjuster said "oh you can get on your ladder and fix that up in 5 mins."

My husband said, "well I tell you what I'll hold the ladder and YOU go up and FIX IT." lol...

guy made a mark on his pad, this is how they screw you...and after all claims were quickly filed Traveler's pulled out of the state not settling additional claims or selling anymore for 5 yrs!! So if you overlooked anything on your walk around too bad!!

Our town has for the past 3 yrs so far been putting all the power lines in the city limits area underground...so hopefully at least they won't have to keep trimming up trees and making them look like a canon was shot thru it...but the electric  grid can go down out of town and leave it in the dark...so it does not guarantee that they  wont lose the power.

So Im keeping my eye on the storm track as it could wobble who knows! I was at the window earlier watching the birds at the feeders...they are drenched and they seem in a panic and fighting each other.  I have feeders placed around here and there so they can spread out I wish they had more cover to stand under..to get out of the rain...

That would be a fun project...to make a covered feed station...but currently my plan is to concentrate on amping up my food growing space and putting in more fruit trees...One tree birds love is elder berry they are a big tree I wonder if they would grow here...I saw one growing in humid Texas, so could be!

While I was making some breakfast the fridge was not making a sound.  It was a quiet as a church mouse...so I opened up the door and checked the controls seemed okay so I clicked the knob in the down and off direction...no sound at all..no clicks I put my ear to it I could hear a faint gurgle...so I put both the freezer and the fridge down to midway because recall I turned both on high a couple weeks ago.

And I waited, nothing.  I had decided to just hit the breaker and then let it stay off in case it has an ice plug which is one thing I read can happen to older models they get a freeze up in the line...So about then is when it kicks back on and is working great it just dumped a load of ice..*s*  no way I could deal with getting a new one right now...but I wanted it to be good and cold in case the power does go off, it can still keep things cold a couple days if you don't open it..

If you're wondering why my font goes from big to medium then to small...
So am I...
