Still ILL

OW...it came back.

the illness...whatever it is...I don't know maybe I have Covid.  Im too sick to go be tested.  Yesterday about midday the fever, chills, and body aches came back with a vengeance.
Last night my temp was 102 I had a miserable night with my head pounding and I feel really tired, If I have Covid I have no idea how because I use a mask, I clean with hand sanitizer the minute I exit a store so I don't touch my face or any of my belongings till my hands are clean so who knows..I don not mingle with people...and I only go in a store to get necessaries, I did go to Lowes that was about 2 weeks ago.  My one and only trip to a big box store.  SO I wonder.

Cases in my state are 1,000 new per day...and our stupid Republican Governor just said big sports venues movie theaters, and concerts could resume with some guideline in place...People, our guidelines are not working!! It may be helping some  but it is NOT stopping the virus from spreading. It is only slowing it down,..it's still there still jumping from one to the other still very much alive and well.
This is the same governor who is trying to give 38 million$$ to kids to go to Private schools from the Money sent to our state (the CARES act) to help the Public Schools get ready for in person class and to extend wifi in the dark areas.  He was immediately sued as our own state constitution says public money can not used for religious or private schools..
The judge heard the case and has  not ruled..The gov says if they rule against him he will appeal...so this means those funds are all now tied up.
He is a Trump puppet, this has Betsy Devos written all over it...Trust me sick people don't go vote, sick people don't fight, sick people spend the whole day on the couch moaning...

Past the Hump

ednesday Blues seem to have a hold of me...

I barely moved off the couch yesterday and my temp keep fluctuating...100.8 at one time..I used the ice packs and drank lots of water, took the ibuprofen and kept it from going higher, I did not think the fever would return once I got it down but it did!  I feel much better but now I just wrung out..and depressed..

Anyways not going to dwell on that it will hopefully normalize and I decided IM NOT doing any more work in the heat I can ride the mower that requires no exertion but getting out in the heat to do chores not happening.

One thing I wanted to share is my sis's dog Jimmy is going to have the eye surgery..and my other sis set up a go fund me for Jimmy..if you want to help out Im leaving the link below,..my sis took on a part time job to help pay for his treatment and she is over 70 yrs old so she is not sitting on her rump waiting for someone else to do this she is doing all she can to make it a reality for Jimmy he is about the same age as my 2 dogs ----12..

She has had him to the vet every single week for a month getting his insulin dose just right so now he is more stabilized.   We had a dog Dixie, she had the same issue and she got the surgery in 2004 and she was able to see right up to her death in 2010 at age 16, so she did really well and 6 more good years of life for her was worth the expense and the risk.  We all pitched in and paid for her surgery..

Well I don't fell like typing much this morning I hope I can stay busy inside at least another day before I try to scramble around and resume some normal activity..

Heat vs Human-Monitoring your Health.

EATHER can kill you.

And it almost did kill me yesterday..I swear I didn't see it coming but I should have..as I've gotten older the only part of me that has not accepted my physical limitations is my thinking!

I've always DONE anything I wanted to of course within the scope of my ability..but now even things that generally fall into that category are falling away.  Of course I know Im aging...I see that every time I look in the mirror,,,every time I bend down to tie my shoe than rise up and almost faint, it's a reminder of the physical limitations!! Yes my physical body has changed...but Im still trying to do the things I been doing for years, that may have to change.

My body does not hold water well at all...I sweat gallons even in cool weather I can't wear cotton under clothes I will freeze once they get damp from the sweat that is always going on.  Yesterday I told you I had to change my clothes 3 times, but what happened later really scared me. For the past several days I've been doing outside chores in the heat and humidity and coming in with my clothes soaked thru as if I jumped in a pond!  This is how much water comes out of me..

Yesterday was the tipping point.  While typing my post yesterday MY head was pounding...I did not eat breakfast before I went outside took both my headlights off the car and examined them and made the decision to go to town and buy the "regular" bulb not the extra bright maybe it's too powerful and is overheating the wiring and I bought some other items, what I really need are new headlight assemblies...and I will probably order that if my intervention does not work.

ANYWAY all that aside...we have been under heat advisories for days...and I normally get things done as quick as I can and back inside so yesterday after the hour spent taking out the lights I changed into dry clothes drove to town and back and then decided to put in the new bulbs and replace the light assembly...that took me another hour...I was soaked and shaky when I came in since I had not eaten...I showered and ate a bowl of granola in almond milk, finished up my post for my daily Writtin's, and by that time my head began to POUND and my arms n legs were aching I had stomach muscle cramps, my heart was pounding my face was flushed and I was burning UP!

I took my temp and it was 98.8 okay that's just 2 tens above normal, but my normal is usually 97.7 I was so lightheaded I drank a glass of water lay on the couch and pulled a blanket over me as I was then starting to chill...I feel asleep and 20 mins later I woke up burning UP...took my temp now it's 99.8 Almost 100...so I got some ice packs and put on my head, my head was literally burning up! I put alcohol on a cloth and rubbed my skin, drank more water I could barely move to be honest with you..

My temp went back to 98.8 about 6 p m...I made a sandwich and lay back down..drank more water and took ibuprofen for my headache.  At 8:30 I gave up and went to bed...I put the ac on in my bedroom HIGH...and slept pretty good until 5 am woke up in a sweat, my pillow soaked also my clothes...so I changed back to bed and slept till 8 am...

My head is still pounding I took my tempt now it's 98.8 again, that is high for me,  97.7... is always where I'm at so it's still high for me,,,so it's no secret I almost had a heat stroke I figure I was right on the verge of it, if your body temp reaches 104 there can be permanent brain damage!! OMG
So today I'm inside no walk no work just gonna drink water all day and try to re-hydrate...

I was too sick to even take my Blood Pressure yesterday I took my pulse by palp...There is a lot of things you can do to monitor your own health.  At Walmart they have these battery operated Blood Pressure Monitors, probably at Drug Stores also like Walgreens etc I suggest you get one. They don't cost much I think I paid $25...I've had it a long time tho, it runs on a 9 volt battery, and it will give your BP and your Pulse...this morning mine was 119/79 and my pulse was 99 that's not good the BP Is ok but the pulse is too high..this tells me Im hypovolemic. Meaning low fluid volume, my BP should be about 120/80 and my heart rate should be about 70 or 80.
Monitoring your BP can be a good idea, check it several times a day and write it down...If your BP runs high say 140 then when you pump up your little monitor (don't get the wrist type get the one that has a cuff that fits on your arm and you pump it up) Pump to say 160 it gets very tight..but then it will slowly release...
My heart is pumping fast to keep the volume of blood and fluids moving in my body so without proper fluid I can get organ damage!

Your BP is considered normal in this range, up to 120/80 but honestly that is not very accurate, most people are more like 129/90...here is a chart for you..the highest BP I ever took when I was a paramedic is 299/145.  We rushed that one to the hospital..IF your BP is that high don't lay down sit up and put a cool cloth on your neck and go to the ER.  Also limit your movements...IF its LOW you can lay down and elevate your feet that will generally raise it also no movement, if your pressure is like 80/40 you could pass out..

So for your own medical kit get one of those digital thermometers, you just place it on your forehead and it works perfect, get a BP monitor, and get a Blood Sugar monitor as well.  It's easy to buy also Walmart, you will need 3 things the Monitor, some test strips and some Finger Pricks...all of these items should be on the shelf near each other..I think the monitor comes with a starter pack of each...tracking  your Blood Sugar is important, and its so easy..there will be a little booklet telling you how to do it, it's very simple the monitor runs on a 3 v round battery I think.  Normal is 80-100 fasting, and it can go up as high as 170 after eating, and if it goes above 126 while fasting you could have type 2 diabetes.  Here is a good chart to refer to.  MY BS is normally low...I have seen it as low as 66 and was told my a nurse to sit down and drink some orange juice...I have never had a finger stick over 77.

SO since I didn't eat, didn't drink, didn't stay out of the heat I'm paying the price.  Don't be me...You don't have to be a doctor to track your own health and this is not a replacement for visiting a DR when you need to...but these handy items could save your life!  Learn  how to take your pulse at the wrist...if you turn your hand palm up and trace along the thumb using the index and middle finger, when you get to the wrist go down one more inch and press you should be able to feel your pulse.  Look at a second hand on a clock, or use your cell phone however you do it sight the seconds at zero and start counting the beats you feel for exactly 15 seconds,,,then multiply that by 4 or count for one full minute.

If you count 20 beats in 15 seconds, your pulse is 80...THE object here is not only count the pulse but to feel the rhythm, is it regular?? Is it skipping beats, it's is speeding up then slowing down, these are all indicative of some sort of heart arrhythmia...and you should be checked. Normal pulse is 60 - 100 anything below 60 is bradycardia, and above 100 is tachycardia. The problem with Brady is you can increase the risk of clots, you can go into cardiac arrest, and it can cause Low Blood Pressure..problem with Tachy is stroke, sudden cardiac arrest, and Death! Some extremely fit athletics can have normal pulse of 60 or less..

Im going to eat breakfast soon as I schedule this post and then find something to occupy me inside. The girls are in too they can also get heat stroke, please read  up on the symptoms of a dog in heat stress, Normally viscous panting vomiting, lethargy, and anxiety....they have to pant and can't sweat so please know WHEN not to take your dog out and have them chase a ball or go on a hike...if they are not in good physical conditioning, then work on getting them in better health with daily easy exercise, just like us they age, they get fat and out of shape, and they have day to day issues to deal with.

As I just told everyone in my Journey Blog my tongue is now numb on the right half thanks to a dentist who damaged my Lingual nerve, I've been trying to adapt to that it's very unpleasant to not have the sensation and taste that I normally do and my mouth is dry all the time anyways so how can I tell when it's dry from thirst or just dry due to the loss of sensation?  These are things I need to figure out..

Meanwhile I'm just gonna drink water every hour whether I need it or I don't..I figure it can't hurt as long as I don't over do it you can upset the balance of sodium in your body so adding some electrolyte is also a good idea...I think if I had been hydrating as I should have over the past 4 or 5 days after those sweat baths while doing my chores I may have been ok, it was cumulative damage.  I drink Ice coffee and that is a diuretic, I drink the sparkling water, and sometimes tea...the sparkling water is fine tho...so more of that on ice and plain water with maybe a little salt in it.  If when you exercise you feel a gritty salty residue on your skin you have lost salts and that needs to be replaced.

Not only has the climate warmed, but I've grown older so these 2 factors collide, and I have to change the way I think about how the weather affects me, I nearly froze while camping in the high elevations of Colorado in Sept...one thing was the fact that I sweat and the damp got into my sleeping bag and I could not warm up.  So having a spare bag is how I deal with that...from now on no more strenuous chores in summer heat. I take the sweat towel off my neck and throw it in!!

Don't do what I did and think you're Super Girl...rest, hydrate, and stay in during the heat unless you're swimming!

Just Move Out of the Way..

ell yesterday I made a boo boo on the post hope it came up on  your feed.
I was trying to save and continue later and I hit publish instead of save, there is no going back from that except to revert to draft so I did...anyways I have been doing the posts a day ahead so they can post early...sometimes I work on them a bit at the time.

Today so far I've had to change clothes 3 times already! So hot and humid.  I have an issue with my headlights...they come on and then they GO OFF! Yes try driving down a dark country road with no headlights...It could be one of a few things in reality I need new headlight holders..the old plastic is so brittle the little screw things that hold the bulb in place is no longer working it was jiggling..and it appears when I did them last I put in a higher rated bulb...

I went down and got the lowest rated bulb suggested for the van and replaced it, I also coated the little wire with some liquid electric tape to seal any cracks in that...I also need new electrical connectors, I may look into doing that
when the weather cools off...until then I hope my little interventions will help.

I forgot to eat and that was part of the trouble, and then I just go so hot I feel like a noodle now...Thankfully I did all I plan to today..and it' almost 1 pm. During normal weather I finish up my day about 3 or 4 pm...and then it's time to relax inside..

we have some real lunatics in this country who would go to all the trouble to try and force their way into a Walmart with no mask...then yell obscenities to the workers and other shoppers when they kicked them out Banned for  a year!

And for what? They are complete jackasses for sure.

I say fine don't wear a mask and STAY HOME.  I still have no plans of going to Walmart not because they are not trying but because of people like that man...I told a man to back up 6 ft on Friday when I had to go into Foodlion for some food items I hadn't even swiped my card and  he pushed himself right in front of the card reader...So I turned to him and I said "back up 6ft please..." and he did..if he had been one of those nut cases he may have pulled out a pistol and shot me death...you never know but still we all have to be held accountable.

I always say I will not comply with a gunman, he will shot me, I may survive or if I dip and duck he may miss...I would never to forced by gunpoint or knife or any other means I will fight back I may not win but in this case I will not do as told.  I've watched some of those Mystery cases where a car drives up a man jumps out with a gun or knife, and says get in the car.

NO way Im immediately screaming and going to run  around to the other side of the car... if the door is open and the engine is on IM jumping in and taking off!! I took a class in Aikido at Windstar Foundation under the guidance of Tom Crum.  Windstar was a foundation formed my John Denver out in Snowmass CO. Tom Crum was a dear friend to John and he held many workshops there, and I think  he was CEO of Windstar Foundation.

At one time My sister was one of the chef's there and she arranged for me to take a workshop.  Windstar was a sustainable living think tank..and they grew and prepared all the food we workshoppers ate on site. We stayed in these big tents and slept on homemade bunks...there was solar showers and composting toilets and a sweat lodge, and we had to work while there too!

The land had an old ranch house that was original to the property when John purchased it...nearly 300 acres I think...So the Ranch house is where the staff had offices the kitchen was in there and a big dining hall where we all took our meals at the same time and other rooms converted to usable space.

I wanted to work in the garden, and the kitchen with my sis...but as it turned out...One day after we were finished with our class I spotted Tom in the main lecture hall staring up at the ceiling...this room had been the old ranch living room...and he had boxes of ceiling tile sitting around and so of course I asked...
"what you doing?"
"someone donated all these ceiling tile and I want to put in on this old stained ceiling but I don't even know where to start."

"Oh it's not hard, I've done many rooms with these tiles in my house...all you need is some construction adhesive, and a hand held staple gun...some tape measures a straight edge and some utility knives to cut it."

OH MY HEAVENS his eye lite up and there was my assignment to help him put  up the ceiling...and we did!! Ladders and tools came out someone was sent to the hardware store and with some extra hands in 3 days time we were done...I heard from sis that the old ceiling we did back in 1983 was still in the house when it was demolished not that long ago...the land was sold but it was in the purchase deal that 93 acres would remain undeveloped and the rest will probably become second homes to Millionaires.

So anyways I took a week of Aikido classes, the premise is to not pull away but to place your opponent off balance and off center, step out of the way.. So if someone rushes at  you they expect you to push or pull back but don't, just step out of the way...and that will generally put them on their knees so you can have some time to get away..
Tom's message is  you can use the rules of Aikido in the workplace too and if you watch this video you may learn a few good points that will help you somewhere along the way..it really works.

Citizens United

ELL FLOSS got her bath...
She is out on the porch drying, and I got my hedges clipped so the to-do list has been whittled down.. It oh so HOT..you just don't know makes me wish I had a swimming pool.
I had a post all typed out and then deleted it...sometimes I open up cans of worms I'm not ready to fish with so I will just deal with that one quietly and not publicly.

Okay enough about that...did you ever Skype with someone...I Skyped with my sisters one day they were using a cell phone...and most of the time I was either staring at the the underside of their chins or their feet...LOL really? Hold it up please...

Do you notice that the news people are still reporting from home whilst the rest of the country is back at work?  I don't understand, anyways one thing that has struck me is how boring and poorly decorated their homes are...LOL it's dull and bad lighting and the sound is awful...and I've heard barking dogs and screeching cats and crying children in the background..LOL..makes them seem almost human eh??

I figured they lived in Mansions, guess I was way off.  One of the local tv personalities, a single  fellow lives in a smalllll little apartment, and he chose to do his report in front of contractor kitchen cabinets a horrible backdrop any ways It's all good no putting on airs and that I am thankful for...they are just being who they are and Im not making light of them...Im pointing out how my thinking about their lifestyle is so far off base.  I figure TV personality equals RICH...maybe not!!

I do trust some of the media to be honest but not FOX I won't even watch FOX period not even their programming on the main channel.   SO much bias on there...they put a Neo-Conservative spin on every bit of news.  I have given up mostly on TV.  I don't have satellite or cable, I have antenna and I try to keep up with the local weather and national news a few times a week and occasional sci-fi movies, and how to shows... and my interest in those is dwindling.  I spend more time watching Youtube now a days.  Citizen's journalism or citizen made films, and citizen made adventures, and documentaries. Citizen's can and do Unite!

I prefer a wide range of topics...so here's a short list of my favorite genre's..and I normally have 3 or 4 Youtuber's giving me their spin on each one of these genre's.  I subscribe to 96 you tubers I watch the same 12 or so every time they post, and I started my own because guess what?  IF Trump wins again citizens journals is all we will have to go on as Im sure he will go about shutting down our media...he's been trying to put suspension on them for the whole 4 yrs he has been squatting in the WH.  I hope Biden asks for all new mattresses to be installed.

So I follow: Hiking, Backpacking, Outdoor Adventure, Traveling, Touring, How To, Gardening, Self Sufficient Living, Farming, History, Environmental Cleanups, and that one is really cool sometimes!

Its called Adventures With Purpose.  What they do is they are cleaning up our rivers of the Junk that is in there!  YOU would not believe how many old cars, boats, machinery is below you in the river you may be swimming in or boating in...They find these junked items in the river by using a sonar device while floating along top then they dive in to see what it is and they recover it and drag it out of the water. They take you underwater and show you how they plan to bring it up and then they film the whole recovery...sometimes they fail...but most of the time they are successful..

The main guy whose name escapes me right now makes these air lift bags, and they attach the bags then inflate them and it floats the junk up and then they use a tow truck to tow it out of the water and remove it..they operate mostly in the PNW but if you know of a car in a river  let them know about it. They may be interested.

In 2 different ones they found vehicles with BODIES inside!  One was a suicide, and the other an accident or maybe a homicide...and they are searching for others, people who vanished and could possibly be submerged in a vehicle having run off the highway and sank!

So this may be morbid but here goes...
My uncle, my Mom's brother, drove his car off the road back in Feb 1961 in Michigan with his entire family in the car! His Wife and himself dead at the scene..their son was thrown out of the car when it hit the water and he survived but he died a  few months later due to complications of his injuries, and their daughter who was 8 survived by somehow crawling onto the top of the car and was seen by a passing motorist..she lived to be 61.  All of them are buried in our family cemetery in TN where all my family except my mom is buried, she did NOT want to be buried there.

Another story that has always been of interest to me is not about my family, BUT of 2 North Carolina high school senior graduates who disappeared on Oct 13, 2012.  I recall seeing the news reports about it when it was happening.  Jake Ziegler, and Ray Pierce, friends who had just graduated from Bandy's High School in Catawba County NC.  They attended a party and had plans to drive to Myrtle Beach for more celebrating of their graduation..

Their family reported them missing when they didn't hear from them since they left Charlotte, NC driving South along Interstate 77 and they were to let family know when they arrived safe at the Beach.  That call never came in.  So searches began to comb the route they would have taken to get to Myrtle Beach the next day.

A citizen organized rescue unit called Community United Effort Center for Missing Persons was leading the search.  It was formed by a man whose son went missing 4 yrs prior and was found murdered!  Each day I would hear on the tv news updates about the search as it continued one week, then two and then finally they found the boys!

Fifteen days after they went missing they were found right here in my home county! About 3 miles from town....so unreal.  I-20 exit 96 about a mile west of that exit is where  a couple bridges span the Wateree River and for some reason they had swerved into the median and swerved back to the other side of the highway and narrowly missed the guard rail and plunged into the river, the car had flipped and was laying on it's top submerged. Some say he fell asleep at the wheel possible.

Cause of death was drowning...So very sad...they were found on Oct 28th about 4:30 pm, when  a fisherman reported seeing a car bumper in the river...the car had floated down river a bit, but was eventually found.

The crazy thing is that during the time they were excavating the car from the river a man who was rubber necking the scene hit the concrete guardrail and was killed...what tragedy!!!

the missing poster:

18-year-old Jake Ziegler and 17-year-old Ray Pierce (Source: WBTV)

Every time I am on I-20 I pass those 2 little wooden crosses by the edge of the road where they went off into the river and I think of these 2 lives snuffed out so quickly...

Labor of Love

eekend finally..

Not that it really matters to me, but it means I am at home.  I just don't go out on weekends anymore since 2 things:
1. Its too hot to enjoy being out doors
2. The population has tripled since Covid

I don't know where all these people came from?  I really don't understand.  My close by spots I used to go like Goodale Park, The River Park, if you go on weekends, you can't even find parking...it's crazy..and before Covid I never had an issue with crowds.

Anyways I have plenty of homestead chores to deal with.  The morning walk this day started at 07:30 and it was clammy to say the least..I wore my floppy hat to keep the sun outta my eyes on the return trip, since they cut all the trees on both sides of the road it's very exposed for the majority of the walk.

Poor Flossie...today was clipping day.  I'm pretty good at many jobs, clipping is NOT one of them.  I used to clip horses as part of my job when I worked at the Hunter Barn right out of high school.  People would bring their horses in and pay us to clip them  I have clipped MANY a horse, been bitten, almost kicked and stepped on in the process...Many of the horses had to be given a shot of tranquilizer  about 30 mins prior to the clipping so they didn't get too stressed and start to panic, and we put cotton balls in their ears so the sound didn't scare them..

It was not  difficult but you had to know a little bit about what you're doing...DOG clipping completely different ball game.  Their hair is soft, a horse has coarse hair,  Flossie will not sit up or stand she insists on laying down...and did I say it's 100 in the shade, so my glasses puddle with sweat and  it's like I just want to be done with this; Poor Flossie..

She looks like she had a really bad fight and Lost with Edward Scissor Hands..lol  One thing I noticed is dog clippers are JUNK...I can't tell you how many pairs Ive gone thru in the 12 yrs of having this dog. IF you know what's good for you Never get a long haired dog unless you can afford the $120 grooming bill...every other month.  I sure can't so I do it myself...thank goodness it does grow back..

IF she would be still it would help she moves I dip the clipper and Oppppsssss
"don't worry, that will grow back."  Good thing she is not going anywhere anytime soon we did the whole shots things last month. That was a rodeo.  First mobile vet to do a clinic since the pandemic started so the line was triple the norm...

Most dog owners can not control their pets...and when you see a 150 pound lab making a bee line for you and your dogs in a LINE of dogs,  as he is dragging his leash behind him and an elderly man is running trying to catch him, all hell breaks loose!  Pitbulls being held by 6 year olds charge, while women holding  Chihuahuas scream, Collies bark , Beagles break into song, bitches with pups growl , uncut males attack each other, even CATS in carriers all suddenly in fight mode.  Run for  your life...it's Gawd Awful stuff..

Between all of us we managed to get the scattered line reformed and the lab under control and the old man running didn't have a coronary right then and there... my biggest fear!

I suddenly called from the back of the line "is my test result done Im ready to get outta here." yes it was and finally I paid for my heart worm tablets got my papers and GONE...omg what chaos.  They take the cats inside the mobile van and close the door, you can sometimes hear the ruckus as the cat zooms out of the crate and attacks the vet..lol  they literally can't give the shots, so they give the owner a tranq. tablet to give the cat and come back next time.

So it is that Flossie looks like fresh roadkill I feel bad but it's better than all that long hair making her hot and I can not bath her with all that long hair the water never gets to her skin...she has some Flat Coated Retriever in her mixed with possibly some Irish Setter, and Lab, she is real mutt but a lovely dog.

Flossie 2012...

This is her normal coat between clippings I take the scissors and have her lay down and trim around her like a cardboard cutout...that helps keep debris from getting in her fur, like briers, leaves, and twigs, but she brings all kinds of trash in with her every day..it's a given pine needles will be in her tail  or leaves in the back end I call it the Bustle...omg its a job keeping her free of tangles and hair mats. I check her often and I just clip them out with scissors.

She hurt her ACL a few yrs back and so she limps around and now at age 12 she has a lot of white in her muzzle and face..

Here she is relaxing inside after the clipping today...I can't hold out to clip and shampoo her in one day so I will try to shampoo her tomorrow..it takes for ever for her to dry...and I have to keep her in the porch or she will wallow in the sand and be a mud pie..

YIKES

IM so glad she cant see what I did to her back,  It will grow in a bit in a weeks time...It's like when you get a bad hair cut and you have to wear a baseball cap!

...and down below...this was 2 days ago trying to find her nails  under all this hair to trim them..

And here is what happens when I try to work on Floss's feet ANNIE sticks her head in between my legs to try and watch omg...

Once when I trimmed Flossie's feet up I got side tracked and only did 3 of the feet, the hair becomes like a "furry slipper" and she walked around with ONE big fuzzy slipper for about a month it grew so huge...my son finally said "if you're not gonna finish her feet I will do it...So I did it..lol

When I took these dogs in 12 yrs ago I promised them 2 square meals and a snack a day now they don't even get the snack..as they are both too fat!  She has always been a goof ball...

here she is doing her upside down dog act..

I love my dogs and I try to take good care of them but no one said they had to LOOK the part, they trust me to know what's best...we have shared some wonderful times together...

Floss in front and Annie in the back at one of the Many Waterfalls we hiked to...2013

They are my family....Annie's hair is easy to care for just brush her out and she is good to go...
IT's a lot of work...but they are worth it. I Lost my precious Casey on Apr 17th and I still cry every single day for him, what a wonderful little light he had inside...losing aging pets comes with the program but I'M so not ready for it...Casey's passing threw me for a loop and I'm still in mourning for him.
I want my girls to be happy and healthy but I know if nature takes it course within the next 3 to 5 years if I don't go first they will probably not be with me anymore.  So I cherish each day with them..

I know some of my Writtn's post get pretty heavy, I don't like to censor myself so it's always gonna be an Up and Down Highway, so keep your seat belt handy it can get bumpy.

So now it's evening and I'm done for the day...Im currently watching PBS and a show called Walk in the Park about the Rocky Mtn National Park...it was not that long ago I traveled thru that park, camped and enjoyed myself I had all 3 of my dogs with me, so  it was a challenge, but I pulled it off and we all had a good visit into the park. Before we arrived in the park we boondocked in the National Forest and the girls and Casey played in the snow...swam in a mountain stream and barked at moose thru the window...

They Killed the Messenger!!

ell I predicted it and now it's coming true.

If you look back in my posts here you will see the Corporate Coop of America pt 1, 2, 3 and now that we have a Fascists "leader" (this term really does not apply to what we have)  it is very blatant and no hiding his giving America away...selling us out and pretty much securing the demise of our freedoms and in some cases our lives.

The latest is the CDC...so he starts to argue with the CDC over the way they were handling facts and guidelines on Covid-19. If you don't like the message in his world you change kill the messenger.

The CDC is a non profit, NON political organization that was sanctioned by our Congress and they have not always been right but they have not been political and they have always been trusted.  I have not always agreed with them, sometimes I think they depend on Big Pharm to control a lot of the research that is done, and I don't think that is good!  I don't trust big Pharm at all.

So Trump opened up this line of hate toward the CDC, remember when I said he doesn't do these things for nothing, he has a motive when he tweets out these attacks, and when he brings up these off the wall digs about an individual, a company ,an organization..it comes into his radar for a REASON he is not just the stupid jackass we see him as...not completely anyways he is still controllable by greed and power, and by his "advisers"

SO the attacks on the CDC open the door for him to  then get his HHS department to start handling this covid data so they AWARD a $10 million dollar contract to Teletracking.

A FOR profit data collection agency on hospitals, on how many beds there are and how many patients are in ICU's and on Vents...
Teletracking is a company started by a Real Estate Mogul an Oil and Gas Pipeline entrepreneur in PA. Google it or follow the link below to their site and from there you can find other info.

https://www.teletracking.com/news/teletracking-scaling-up-to-battle-covid-19

This is their website and this is their News Release on this covid contract.  Now  you see WHY TRUMP starting attacking the CDC so this whole passing of million$$ could be done...and now he has a direct way to manipulate this data, and he made it all look necessary.  I wonder just how much money this Data Giant is funneling back to Trump's campaign??

MARK my words, and he has ORDERED States to report their data to Teletracking..so expect soon to be told the Deaths are decreasing, that beds are available, that the  country is on track and HE is stamping the virus out...SO now the Media will be reporting fake news to all of us.  SO somehow this passing of money from our pockets to this "corporation" will make the virus go away...can you imagine if $10 million was given to provide safe day care to parents who can't go back to work? Wouldn't that make more sense and do more good? Put $10 million in improving our ability to grow food in this country? To stop our farmers from polluting the lands and return the rich soil and ability to really feed us?

The vaccine is going to be another wool over the eye joke.  Another HUGE gift of money to Pfizer  getting 1.9 million $$$  and their stock when UPPPPPP after Trump announced this funding,....for this vaccine, its supposed to "stimulate you immune system and create antibodies in your system" and yet they have already said that the antibodies only guard against Covid for 3 weeks and that even if you had it you can get it again!!

There is NO cure for any Virus...so let that sink it. NONE..controlling the symptoms and keeping the person alive is the only way we have survived viral attacks... treating the symptoms. $10 Million to a DATA COLLECTION AGENCY...and hospitals still don't have vents...masks, PPE.  And why did FEMA hord and confiscate massive amounts of PPE?

ONE day a miracle will happen and we will have a way to stop virus but that is not in our near future because we don't know enough about viruses how do they get life, how do they move affect our bodies, there is NOT enough information to go on. A cold sore is a virus, Herpes is a virus, HIV is a virus, the Common FLU is a virus,  H1N1 is a virus, H1N2 is virus...and yet there is no cure for any of those. Go figure!

The data and the "cure" will all be manipulated, and it will not paint a true picture it will paint the narrative or spin he wishes to put on it.
SO when you hear those numbers, new numbers when they come out why would you trust it? The vaccine will have to be done in 2 doses and a booster, and then that will probably be a yearly booster, and that is going to cost KA-TRILLIONS and it won't be effective...think FLU SHOT..

Trump has told all States to report their data to Teletracking NOT the CDC..I heard my local news make the announcement tonight..they will be getting the new data from Teletracking by Federal Order...

Meanwhile he gases a Mayor in Portland? That is Martial Law that is an occupation...and he threatens to occupy other Democratic run cities and Im sure in his next rally he will tell his followers, we stopped the violent take overs that these "weak" democrats wouldn't .

November can't come fast enough this puppet master will do anything to keep us from the polls...so beware of what may happen in the next few months Don't believe half of what  you hear...it could be a ploy to keep you from the polls.  Put your mask on and go...I don't like the vote by mail because he is trying to STOP the postal service by under funding them...and it takes too long to count them and if past performances by voting district employees is any indication of the efficiency it's horrid...I never see young energetic people working at the poll I see retired decrepid people who can barely speak in complete sentences...
I'm sorry I know what I just said is cruel,  but it's true!!
They are incompetent..the machines they use are a joke!!

Just more bad new in Trumps version of America...

I see in all this that any US President has way too much leeway, too much power, and can be a danger to  our freedom and our life. There are no checks in place to stop this kind of mad man..he needs to be replaced asap.

Down in TX where they are stealing land to build a border wall and putting people in cages to try and satisfy the "scared conservatives" they are training these type goon squads, and they are building high tech surveillance towers that may have "shoot to kill drones" in the future...

oh yeah you thought he was out of the picture think again...Steve Bannon is behind a lot of this propaganda of  how American cities are under siege from BLM and Antifa and Immigrants its all lies...yes protesters are out in the streets...so next will a tower such as that go up in your neighborhood, you run a stop sign then you're shot down by a drone? This is how a society such as that is built...if we do nothing it escalates as we see.

Here is a story about the goon squad where they came from and how dangerous this is..

Well  hope you are completely enlightened on current events...I have answers...let us stop spinning our wheels hating each other put that money and energy into building a sustainable life for everyone!! Millions to a data reporting agency while farms  grow industrial products not food???? GOOD GRIEF as we see it takes less than a month for the shelves to go empty...and Trump puts money into ways to stop poor people from crossing our border? We can't even grow most of the food we eat in this country. Mexico is a sustainable country we are NOT.

What if we stripped the Pentagon of 3/4 their budget, what if we got RID of Homeland Security, what if we no longer needed the Border Partrol, what if we stop building HUGE schools, and Prisons, and use those resources to build sustainable community food growing facilities, we use the power of the sun, the wind, the many hands  to grow food, and clean up our water and to make producing energy clean and sustainable...

WHAT about we ensure the future of human existence? Stop teaching BS and start teaching people to live in harmony and how to be free from a grid that keeps them enslaved in boring jobs, what if we stop trying to live forever and make the life we have worth something.  What if we didn't need check cashing and title loans and second rate expensive health care what if we began to act like real human beings?

We allow ideology to destroy our future so we are not worthy.

Cosmic Joy

HEN you look to the night sky a magical feeling comes into your being...

That's how I felt last night when I went to look for the Comet Neowise.  And I found it! Did I get a photo...NO But with my binoculars I saw it very nicely and it astounded me of course...

It was as if a hole had been punched into the web of darkness of the night sky and a beam of light was streaming in...But in reality it was the three mile big comet zooming along at 40 miles per second and in it's haste it is leaving particles in it's wake.

Right there in the northwestern sky just below the Big Dipper is where it is...so if can find the Big Dipper in your sky you can see it.  I went out about 9 but didn't see it until 10 pm ET  The last humans to see this was 6,800 yrs ago.

I first spotted it with my naked eye..,just as a bright smear up there near  the dipper..then with my bins I confirmed it...So amazing,  I did try for a photo but my 60 x zoom was like trying to climb to the moon using my 24 ft ladder..lol

I snapped a shot of the awesome crescent moon...At first my camera was not  working at all I completely forget how to set it up for a long exposure then I remembered the Night Sky setting in the SCN function of the camera and put it on that I should have selected the 90 sec but I selected the 60 sec anyways I got this of the moon

I was drenched with sweat when I got back home...It's so humid...I think  if there is not clouds it will probably still be visible tonight and who knows I may try again but I think it's futile...Go to the website of NASA and read all about it..this below is from their website,,,the comet looked much bigger in the sky last night..

NASA photo

Comet NEOWISE Brightens the Night

I went around the block today 7:30 am had a late start but it was all good...then after coffee I tried out the battery operated clippers YEAH no cord to cut and I've cut 3 which is a lot of money as those long yard extension cords are not cheap...so problem solved on that front, then I hopped on the riding mower did the front yard, and now that done for a while I still have 2 more shrubs to trim up...I allowed 3 of my hedges to grow into trees, and I like the umbrella shape of them but in order to keep them looking that way I have to prune them back..and I have to stand on the ladder to do it..
So one down 2 to go...when Im too old to do that I will simply cut them down!! Already decided it's only for my viewing pleasure same as the comet.

Metaphorically...

HEN I have to get up so early just to get in a walk it makes for a really long day.

By 10:30 Im ready to throw in the towel.  Today I was  at the stop sign by 6:30 am, turned and had the sun in my face walking back it had peeked up over the trees lining the horizon to the East as I headed back, almost looked like a mirage on the desert.  The dew melting off the plants put up a misty vale.

Back at home the girls were eager for breakfast and I wanted some coffee. I'm sticking to Ice Coffee for now, it is satisfying.  I read a few blogs and watched the Common Milkweed Vlog, Jennifer gave us a nice tour of one of the paths on their property, always some good stuff there.  I adore both those young people for their focus, I don't know how they can maintain such a positive attitude, I strive to be more like them!

I strive to be more .  More than I am, more than I have been.

I am a Libra, balance is the key to my contentment...if any one thing is out of kilter it's as if I'm dangling on the end of a web fluttering in the wind... learning how to accept the things I can not change or have no control over is the hardest acceptance I've had to deal with my entire life.  I am one of those DO something type people, I am stubborn, and Im vengeful, and I am imperfect by so many measures.

Case in point my son...*sigh* I thought I knew him, little did I know..and everything I wanted him to be he is the opposite.  I had to learn to lay that hammer down.  Trust me, it's the hardest thing I've ever attempted to do.  It was like when  he went through puberty he became some other kid.  I no longer had a clue what made him tick..and I still don't but at least I've identified his personality disorder trust me we all have one...and I now know the best thing I can do for now is DO NOTHING!

Sometimes the absence of action is the answer. ..and yes we all do fit into a slot of some-kind, we would all like to think we are unique...but shock and surprise "we're not" somewhere out there is your twin you can be peg-holed, and no you're not a one of a kind.  Sorry precious.

Dealing with an Adult child is one of the hardest family dynamics I've faced and pretty much failed/am failing at.   I really wish I had said NO much more often, NO is the hardest word in the language of man...and no truer statement has been pieced together than, you can lead a horse to water...

and you know the rest of that story. My Mom never told me no, she never said yes either, she just let me find my own way thru life, not  good not bad just NOT...she was dealing with her own demons.

So a thirsty horse can run right over you at that trough so stand back...
I've been to the desert on a horse with no name...
America recorded that song it was a big hit for them...I listened to it over and over and ..tried to fit those words into some sort of understandable idea.

The desert is a lonely place you can be alone, and be away from life as we know it, it's you and the environment.  The sand gets in  your eyes, it sinks beneath your feet and it is an unforgivable place if you give in to the harshness.
It felt good to be out of the rain.  So the rain is probably a metaphor for everything coming at you from all sides, family, friends, job, responsibility.
In the desert you can remember your name cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain...So you can reconnect with who you are...and no one can hurt you or cause you pain, or call you out for NOT being what you should be.

So back to the horse with no name....if you have no name you have no assigned identity to live up to, you can be whatever you need to be at any given time, so you are just that horse, any horse, any color of horse, any size horse you are unidentified you could be a white horse a black horse one of the 7 horses of the Apocalypse you could be a metaphor for a horse,,,and not really be a horse at all.

,,,this rider has been to a harsh place along with an unidentified and un-assigned force that got him there.  He is reconnecting with who he is and he feels safe there...he has stripped away all the things that give him pain: identity, responsibility, purpose he just IS.  La La La La Lala Lala La La La..
The song was written by Dewey Bunnell...a member of the band this is what he said about the song...

Bunnell has explained that "A Horse with No Name" was "a metaphor for a vehicle to get away from life's confusion into a quiet, peaceful place"
And many said that vehicle was heroin and the song was banned in some US cities...the word "horse" was slang for heroin...so there is that.  I remember it well back in my youth since horses were so important in my life.  To me it was the perfect song to escape to my fantasy world while riding my horse, Silky, Id be riding along humming
"Inna gadda da vida" by Iron Butterfly...and every one in my family thought I was a devil worshiper because the Christian Right said it was the Devil's Music...I guess cause it turned them on, and if its turns you on it  has to be bad right?  But I was just a girl listening to a song!

Say What??? It was an awesome drum solo some of the best music ever put on vinly..I played it over and over and I accused my sister of throwing it away as it disappeared she swears she didn't and she actually bought the Cassette when it came out and gave it to me...but I still wonder

I was Nature's Child and a Flower Girl all wrapped into one..
I loved America, and Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin,  I loved Folk, Rock and Heavy Metal!! completely BI-Polar in that....Go figure, I gave my mom a hell of a time she finally gave up on me and I left home when I was 16!! I didn't need to be pushed out of the nest, in fact I was like that little bird that fell out of the nest with no feathers and just starred up at the nest and said to myself, "ok I got this" and had to figure it all out on my own.

So now Karma is all over me like a bad rash.

NO I never dropped acid but I was that kid... that kid who would go away with a friend and not come back for like 3 days..yeah that kid...half the time my family had no idea where I was or who I was with.

John Denver who I shared with you yesterday saved me...literally.  I found the voice I could connect my inner and my outer child to in the real world  eventually I found the balance I needed to be one, harmonically.

Eggs and other stinky things...

HOSE pollution is dirtier?

Rich man poor man?  I've made these comparisons before in my mind.  Another song by John Denver comes to pass and he asks , is "a Hero's Blood More Righteous Than A Hobo's Sip of Wine?"

Well what do you think...so my point is this; a recent disagreement about the carbon footprint we each leave as we walk thru our life led me to do some deep thinking and some fact checking...So someone made a statement about this person who "drove around in a old model car polluting the air, to go see ONE duck" Im paraphrasing of course..but that statement really stuck in my craw.

To me what this particular individual was saying is it's okay for HIM to drive around because he is probably in a Newer model car...his pollution is more righteous? Why---> because his bank account has more Zero's on the end of it?

I happened to know this particular fellow has flown all over the world to be led around to see birds.  I stated if you fly to see a bird you are really polluting!
So the fellow in the old car made a trip to see one  bird, yet in the mind of this stuffy birder this man's means were not good enough he polluted the air with his old car..

The more I thought about it the more bigotry came to mind.  So in a flurry of well put words the affluent individual proceeds to enlighten me on how "his" money being spent to fly to 3rd world countries was good for the world it gives income to the "poor" who would house, feed, and led him thru the jungle while he spent his precious time and money  with them... in his mind this was somehow so much more important than the guy who drove his old car to see one duck.

So I did what I always do...I researched to see if the numbers supported his theory of how he was actually saving the world while the poor guy with the old car was only polluting it..

I found out that it would take almost an entire life human lifetime to drive a car and use the same  amount of fuel that one  10 hr plane flight uses, and even if you add in the income of the 3rd world meals, huts, and leader fees he would pay he still is also going to be riding in a car once he arrives to that 3rd world country to and from the airport, and on each birding excursion they go on, and I bet in an old beat up something or other, I don't think 3rd dwellers have the latest model of fuel efficient vehicle... Some may have battery powered vehicles for short trips I just don't know..but Im thinking 4 wheel drive is probably necessary.

So he is not only doing what the old guy who saw a duck did he is adding all that jet fuel to the formula... that just didn't add up to favor his argument. Numbers just do not lie.  And since he does such a thing almost yearly this old guy with the old car could go see a duck a day for 100 yrs and come no where close the fuel burnt by this world traveler...so I called him out on it he got pisst end of story.

How is supporting ecotourism by flying saving the world? It is not...maybe it sends the right idea if you save it we will come see it but do the means exact the cure?   I think not we save the rain forest yet we burn 80,000 gallons of jet fuel on ONE round trip flight..and we will pay the Hut Owner  as little as possible, which will guarantee it will remain a 3rd world country.

So I feel that one's mans trash is just as dirty as anyone else's...Eco pollution is still pollution you make more change in those regions by trying to not support the regimes with your dollars on the daily..don't buy products with Palm oil, look for  alternatives,  and helping to stop the deforestation of the Rain Forest the change has to come at the political level...don't support US companies that exploit these nations... and do support politicians here at home who support humanitarian aid to  3rd world nations with medicine, education, and investing in clean energy here at home and then pass that technology around. Do not support a USA that won't help it's neighbors.
Investing in businesses that employs local people helps the entire community.  Yes eco tourism is a good thing, but when you stand back and look at the big picture...how is pumping thousands of gallons of jet fuel exhaust into the atmosphere helping the problem as a whole?? We destroy the air while we save the trees?

Now the egg story..

Once upon a time my sister and I were on a road trip together...we were in Utah.  Im an early riser most of the time...said sister is not...she can sleep through a tornado if need be.  I exited our shared motel room and walked down to the office to bring back the coffee,  toast, cereal, donuts, etc they had out in their little "free" breakfast bar.  Each room opened out to an outdoor area with a table and some chairs so I ate out there  while sister slept.

We had a big day of sightseeing planned for one of the Utah parks later so when I saw the breakfast bar included boiled eggs, I grabbed up about 6 of them planning to make egg salad for our lunch later...we had a cooler along with sandwich makings in it some mayo pickles etc..so I thought this would make an excellent addition to lunch for us.

Meanwhile grumpy gets up ...*lol* she comes out and barely speaks to me, hair all a mess...she mumbles something about this being a vacation and she enjoys sleeping in...I had said nothing except good morning and I got us some breakfast..she prepares her coffee and then she grabs up one of the boiled eggs...and goes inside..

there is a kitchenette in each room...Im kinda thinking-- ok, no problem I can make egg salad with 5 eggs, that cool...

Next thing I hear the microwave going and then I hear this explosion.....BANG  so I am concerned, yet....I wait-----> she comes out and goes to the Boiled egg pile and grabs up a second one, I ask about "that loud bang"...
"I left the egg in too long and it exploded,"

What? So I explain how an egg is going to explode in a microwave, it can't be done that way...for any amount of time when you open the door it will explode...

She leaves with a second egg...in a minute I hear BANGGGG and some cursing...she comes out and when she reaches for the 3rd egg I'm like
"NO" and I actually put my hand over the remaining eggs..."these are for our lunch if you want to blow up more eggs you go get them yourself."  Then I suggested she heat up a cup of water then sink the  boiled egg in it and let it sit to warm it up...LOL

I helped her clean  up the mess!! And What a mess it was shells egg and just the stink all over...
SO yesterday my sister's friend was trying out this Egg cooker she bought...you put it in the microwave, and my sis tells her right away "NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT"...and about that time BANGGGGGG

LOL...some lessons we only need to learn once, usually the ones we learn the hard way are the ones best learned, how do you think I knew about the egg exploding...ah ha!

They Speak to Me

ishing for clear skies tonight...

We had some rain yesterday afternoon and last night so no plant watering after my 6 am walk this morning, I was making tracks in the sand while the neighbor's roosters just began to crow.  So I thought about my poor deer friend all night and  had made the decision to try and bury her...but when I walked to the spot she was gone! NOT one shred of evidence she ever existed...all I saw was one wide drag mark that went from one side to the other side on the dirt road! What on Earth did that...the drag mark went across the road to the grass on the other side by my neighbor's horse pasture..and I scanned the entire area----> no carcass...So I hope maybe who ever hit her came and took her away or maybe we have a Sasquatch! I saw no foot prints no animal tracks...so what?

When I go out to the wilderness area I always say out loud "I want to see a mountain lion, bob cat, or bear today."  I moved a dead bobcat off the highway about 2 months ago it was such a beautiful creature.  I did not want to dishonor the life of that animal by taking a photo of it in death...But I stroked its face and told him how beautiful he was...he spoke to me, not in words but I got it...I heard it, I knew.  He tried to tell me I should love the land, and I DO...

I wanted to do the same for my deer but I was too upset yesterday and hurt.  The bobcat was quite heavy when I moved him off into the edge of the woods, and the pattern of his beautiful fur was just amazing, it's coarse not soft like a house cat. He was tough as nails and not one ounce of fat on him. Have you ever stroked a bobcat? I have seen a few in my times, all alive this was the only dead one.  Dead what does that mean?

In the late 70's I saw something awesome.  I have nothing more than my eye witness account, but I know what I saw.  Back then instead of a trash center around our county there was these big metal dumpsters placed here and there for us to bring our house trash to and toss in, one was placed along the road that takes me to town from my homestead.  I was on my way to work one morning that would have been about 8 or 8:30 am when I saw it.

The big dumpster was on the right side of the road, as I topped the small hill and started down I saw a large tawny animal jump from out of the dumpster to the ground in one leap it landed in the middle of the highway and in one more leap it cleared the highway and landed on the opposite side of the road and ran into the woods..this is before all our woods became  2 x 4's waiting to be grown, harvested, cut n sawn. The big cat was immediately swallowed up by the heavy turkey oak and under brush.

The thing that struck me MOST was the size and  the long ropy tail of this animal, and I immediately said out loud "that was a mountain lion" I told everyone who would listen to me, and I don't think one single person believed me. BUT there was such a thing as the Eastern Cougar, or Florida Panther, ALTHO over 100 sightings per year are reported to DNR "experts" still say not possible..ANK, ok those experts are wrong..I know what I saw and many others have reported it too in fact records show DNR (Dept of natural resources) has mountain lion reports in every single SC county!! SO the Data is there but still reputed?

I want to see the Neowise comet, tomorrow will be the day it will be closest to Earth I have not tried to see it yet but tonight I plan to try..Look toward the northwestern sky  locate the big dipper and that's where it should be...I hope it stays clear so I have a chance to see it.  We saw Hale-Bopp 1997 when  it came thru..I missed Hailey's oh well and who knows what else I've missed in my life...many many things.  If I don't see it does that mean it's not there?

I do wonder about our Universe and what other beings may be out there...It just makes sense to me when I see images of petroglyphs that Ancient man did see Ancient Travelers.  Why else would people ALL around the world make drawings of beings who look so similar if they handn't see it with their own 2 eyes?  They had no way to communicate with each other...they had no telegraph, no telephone, no postal service, no internet, no 2 way radio.  The had drums but that would not go from one continent to the other.  Just like my Mountain Lion sighting if I wanted to share what I had seen I would scratch it on a rock...so my theory is this

Modern Humans came here from someplace else...We came from someplace else...We are the space travelers, but we do not have that in our memory Ancient people recorded our arrival the only way they could, in Stone... stranger things have happened! AND yet people will repute this evidence.  I am not a Heaven's Gate nut case....I'm just a run of the mill believer who drew that conclusion based on the evidence at hand...we have no evidence of creation...no direct link to evolution so that leaves the only idea documented by eye witness accounts, we are Aliens!  They probably dropped us off said "see ya" and left us here! Just like Australia was made up of convicts dropped off ships so were we dropped off ships..

Seems all the humanoid shapes they drew were triangular shaped...and all had some sort of "something" on their head.  It's  just too much of a coincidence that all over the World they drew a very similar subject.  Had to be a wide spread and prevalent.  Now that got you thinking!!

So if I see the comet tonight, crossing fingers, I will try to photograph it because we need Proof...I will mention that in the journal I keep on my bedside table. and I will probably scribble a little drawing too. Girl from the country she loves the Sun, the Moon, the Planets and all the little creatures on it. Every creature on this Earth leaves their mark in some way that little deer left her memory in me, that tough bobcat spoke to me, that blade of grass under your foot is saying I am here...don't ever take your life for granted.

John Denver recorded a song called "Boy From the Country" you must listen to this song John sang it perfectly..I've placed it below for your listening pleasure..

He tried to tell us that the  Animals could speak,
How do you know they don't,
just because they've never spoken to  you?

I want to share the egg story tomorrow...

Let the Light Shine

ILL Trump keep trying to stop the truth from reaching his supporters?

I hate to get started on Trump and the GOP.  His corruption is so vast now it would take a Book to tell it all, OH yeah well recently 2 books doing just that have been released..But the thing that is getting at me "today this minute" along with of course ALL HIS OTHER BS, is his attempt to manipulate the data about Corona-virus in order to make it look as if HE has won the war against Covid-19.  We all know its a big fat LIE...another one to add to the LONG list of lies..

So he is trying to make the info from the CDC unavailable, while he uses a data collection agency called Teletrack run by a guy named Michael Zamagias's (You can google him), he is also heavily involved in Gas and Oil Pipelines, and Real Estate Development....So Trump disables the confidence in one of our trusted non profits...and turns the data collection over to a For Profit company and one who I'm sure is huge contributor to his campaign...since they are both in Real Estate Development.

Trump always has a motive for his actions that are to benefit him or some deal he hopes to broker once his ass is kicked out of DC...He is padding his own family fortune and making it up as he goes so when he is out things will be in his Favor, the courts most especially as the courts seem to be the only way to get anywhere with this Thug!

After Chuck Woolery retweeted Trump's tweet about how "the Democrats" are making covid out to be this horrible disease just to make Trump look bad, (like he needs any help in that department)....Woolery closed his twitter account after reporting his own son now has  the virus! Karma is a real force in the Universe.

SO that's in my craw today..and the fact that someone killed my Deer! I'm so hurt...she is laying dead at the corner of the property with vultures feasting on her carcass ....I don't  have a clue but it appears she was hit by a car and that doesn't make sense since there is a stop sign right here and no one can get up any speed because of that..I had not seen her a few days then I saw the vultures and went to investigate.  I'm still in shock over that.  ;o((

I was sick this morning when I woke up...dizzy and feeling very poorly so no walk again today!  After eating and trying to do some small chores inside I felt well enough to drive to the IGA and get some dry kibble for the girls they didn't have enough for tonight and in the morning, so I made that trip and  then I started to feel even better so off to Lowe's.  I entered via the garden center it's all open air basically and then into the double opening doors and made a hard left and along that wall is where they keep the battery operated power tools..

I am so done with electric hedge clippers they are only good for cutting up expensive extension cords!! And while I was at it,  I got the battery operated Blower too..the one I have was smoking at the connection the last time I used it!! A fire waiting to happen I guess.. Everyone except one employee up on a ladder had on a mask, he had a bandanna around his neck I assume he pulls it up when near people, my first trip to a big box store since March.

NOW if it would cool down enough for me to use either one.   I like having my windows curtain free in the front room so I can see the deer and the birds outside as my house  overlooks my old horse pasture..BUT this year I've had to put some coverings over the widows in the "bar" room as  the Sun beams in there in the afternoon and makes it so hot..I purchased these thin linen panels and simply thumb-tacked them  up at the top so when it cools I can take them down and fold them up and put them away...I don't want a permanent covering to block my view..

I like the windows uncovered...so the light can shine in. I don't like to be kept in the dark!  86 45 11 3 2020
