Saturday night picture show..

HICH WAY IS UP?

Good question.  I guess if I stack wood up that is good if my pile is down that is bad?  

I guess it is. When I dont have a fire and have to turn on my electric heat I PAY $$$ for my laziness is how I see it,  Meanwhile how long can I continue to saw, chop and split wood?  I will do it as long as I can But my son thinks Im a nut.  He used to help me then he stopped helping me he thinks I'm just being cheap.  Well I never!! Anyway I will cut wood whether he helps or not.   We rarely agree on anything these days.  

So I spent the entire day cutting wood and splitting it,  I didn't start till 11 am.  It's good strength training. So the fire is burning.  I generally burn the fire from 3 to 10 or so when I head off to bed.  I read this trilogy, the Moon was hit by a meteor and it was tossed off course due to that so many things went wrong on Earth, life as they knew it was over. Soon the grid broke down and there was no gas or electric so this family in the book went out and cut the trees that had been part of their lawn and burned it in the fireplace.  They took turns feeding the fire 24 hrs a day, They all slept in the living room by fireplace and they learned to cook on it as well but when they ran out of wood they started scavenging from abandoned homes.  The fire was what kept them alive.  

Anyways I was thinking of that last night.   I watched a movie called the Long Kiss Goodnight Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.  Really a good movie, it had some comedy and some  action.  I dont know if it's gonna be Svengoolie or a streaming movie tonight one or the other.  Lately Sven has not been too interesting. Tonight it's the Invisible Woman I have seen it and it's kinda korny.  They basically parade clothes around pretending its a woman inside I think maybe streaming may be the thing for tonight.  

ITs quite cold so a cozy curl  up on the couch with my wool blanket after a Pizza sounds like the perfect Saturday night to me.  

Why do you never fight with Santa?  Cause he has a Black Belt.
