Monday blues.

asted an entire day in a waiting room...
women have given birth in less time that it took the guy to do my brakes and wheel bearings...
I got there as requested at 8:30 am.  I pulled out at 2:30 pm...omg.  The shop owner did insist I use his loaner truck and go do my errands...so I did go to Walmart and had lunch out killed 2  hrs there.  BUT OMG I don't think I will be ready to have any more mechanic work done there unless I arranged a ride home...He did tell me originally it would take 2 1/2 to 3 hrs...But it took 5 1/2 hrs...

The brakes seem good but I still hear a roaring sound.  I need a passenger to listen to areas of the van while I drive to figure out: is it coming....out of the back wheels, the axel, or the transmission?...I know it's not an engine noise..Could be a Universal Joint...
Oh Boy but I had to have the brake job and the bearings he said they were nearly out!
And Just had to pull out $$ for the battery now IM broke and its Christmas and My Property taxes are due..
Heck I think I may have to get a part time job...or sell something...I have nothing of value I can sell..

The price of food is outrageous, and has been since Trump took office.  Yet no one says a word...He braggs about the freaking stock market hitting 300 and yet people are in food lines that are miles long...he said NADA still trying to cut food stamps and not addressing another stimulus and nothing about the virus....taking credit for AND actually saying JOE BIDEN did not get these vaccines made, I DID,,,,meaning Trump did...but he did not..he shoved some money into it, and pushed them to make it by Nov 3rd the first shot will not hit till after new years...so IF the shot happens on Joe's watch it's Joes, as Trump claimed all the good stuff that came from Obama..and called it his...Fair is Fair.

I got a 12 roll of Toilet Paper..yahoo...

I also picked up some supplies for the cat tower!! Im so excited about building that.  I need projects to be happy...I think due to my 26 yrs of being a small business owner operator, doing re-Upholstery....I always lived from project to project..each chair, sofa, recliner, seatee, love seat, sectional, restaurant booths, office chair, car seat....was always followed by the next one for 27 yrs actually since I did it at home for a year before I opened my shop formally with a business license and all that...
AND then I worked for 2 1/2 yrs in other shops...So my whole life has been one project after the other....So I like to have a project to work on  or one to plan for.  It's just part of who I am.
When I worked in EMS, it was one patient after the other, a stream of projects....even tho they were human and sometimes I had as many as 10 per day.

Another thing is I been trying to buy a laptop for my son's gift.  WHO knew it could be so hard...there is a shortage of laptops in the affordable price range.  I bought one at Walmart.com but it was so much smaller than I realized.  So I returned it...then I have been looking online, Best Buy in my price range Sold Out...Same thing at Staples, Amazon, and eBay I bid on 4 different ones, LOST all 4 outbid...went back to Walmart today and ended up with a Chromebook...NOT what I wanted and $40 more than my price range.
I will keep it and give it to him...I hope he will like it.  Mostly I got it so he can stream movies....neither of us have cable or satellite tv..and he has no laptop he watches youtube on his phone but there is no way to connect the phone to the wall mounted TV.  I had put a 38-inch wall mounted TV in Mom's house where he is living...and it has HDMI and USB connections so he can stream with this laptop..And he can use it to surf the web, pay online bills, etc.
Hopefully it will work good for him he is used to doing his online stuff on a phone so he will probably get along with it...it has a large 14in screen.

SO Another expense, but I had planned to do that before all the car repairs hit so I just have to really tighten up my belt come January...rice n beans...
I CAN DO IT!
