OUCH

RIST PAIN..

I turned around quick and the weirdest thing happened...I had my hand out like if I was going to shake hands, and I accidentally shoved my hand down thru the door handle of the fridge, so It really jammed up my wrist.  NOW it's aching and getting very stiff.  This is my left wrist which was badly broken and never  healed properly at all...My fingers are getting stiff even...I think I will take some otc pain killers when I finish this post.

I just wrote to every single SC Senator, about the ridiculous gun bill that just passed thru the legislature...now they want people who have a permit to carry a gun right on their hip.  I tell you I have to move out of this state, and if I had the money I'd move to Canada.

I live in a rural area people shoot guns here daily...and not just like a rifle, Automatic weapons, one just blasted off 10 rounds a few minutes ago...Im getting scared to be out in my yard so many loonies out shooting.  AND with the neo cons in charge of our govt it's only going to get worse...I despise Conservatism.

I watched a documentary on You Tube last night about poverty and homeless in the USA...that's about 40 million people live below the poverty line, including ME! Yes I own my home but if I had not done that when I had the chance I would not be able to pay rent on my retirement income.  This show was done by DW, a German Production company,  and honestly they showed the real USA.   People who have no job, no home, no income or people who work hard yet get paid so little they can not rent an apartment or buy a home.  Some live in their car because they have to, not because it's a choice.  AND some States have horrible renters laws or lack of...in NYC there is rent control and that really helps a lot of course it's not perfect.  When I lived there my rent could only increase 3% each time my lease was up for renewal.

So why don't cities and towns, build tiny home villages for homeless to take up ownership...they can work for the city doing whatever they can physically  for one year to pay for the home if they have no current income.  The tiny house can be solar and wind powered, while on the grid, they can have a central  laundry, recycling, trash facility with solar banks on top and some could have a shared bath house, why not??

Like a campground.   If your personal space had a small kitchen, shower and sink, toilet,  all one price either weekly, monthly  and people can  work in return for that utilities.  It is so simple, and they could build a community garden so people could grow some fresh foods, THIS is the type society that helps give people a life.  Something has to be done.

I know many people get forced to be nomadic, hence the movie Nomadland, but some chose it,,,,and they love it.  BUT if it's a hardship life then a tiny home village could be the answer for many. NOT everyone but many...single parents, elderly, people just out of Jail or rehab, emancipated youth,  they need homes to live in.

In the state of VA people can be given eviction notices if they are 5 days late with rent.  AND once you have been evicted it shows up in your credit report meaning you may not get another place and if you do they will charge you more...SO UNFAIR.   Im so over capitalism.   It does NOT work for the majority of hard working people.

We have some bad weather on the way tornados have already hit MS, and AL and now it will be heading here tomorrow.  Not looking forward to that if one hits my house I hope it spares my van so I will have a place to live...IF Im lucky.
The worst will hit us between 10 am to 2 pm.. Not looking forward to that.
I got my spiral notebook, and already have entered a lot of the photo 'data" so it is very helpful...I updated only one post tonight as I feel a little tired.
After Jeopardy if nothing good is on tv, I may start making my list of the posts that have missing photos and start tying to hook up the right ones.

While I was in dollar store getting my notebook, I met the cutest little chihuahua. The elderly man who had him told me the little dog goes everywhere he goes...he had his little round bed in the shopping cart I got to tickle him what a sweet pup.
