Blah...

AS NOT ABLE TO GET MOVITATED

I tried but it just didn't happen.  I went to a couple of my favorite spots to check for birds...and still  I did not get excited...Northern Parula buzzing all round, yea...seen it. 

EVEN when going thru photos from 2016 and realizing I had mis identified a LeConte's Sparrow as a Grasshopper Sparrow...which means MY life list increased by ONE...I did not get excited.  Sometimes it takes a while to figure things out..Like a grasshopper sparrow does not have streaking on the chest and sides they have pretty much a plain chest..a tiny bit of marbling but that's it..THIS bird had streaking...and a Buffy Cheek patch.  I really recalled seeing a bird that fooled me, and this may have been the one...anyways I have the photo to prove it, I put up a historical list in Ebird and NOW It's official I need one more bird to be at 460...so I'm getting close to my goal of 500 before I die and on my budget.  

Which means Im not flying off to Costa Rica...NOW I do want to go to Hawaii..at some point and get the 50th state. Hope that happens before I die, if not Fed-ex  my ashes to Hawaii...

It got incredible hot today I was not comfortable...I had sweat in my glasses, my hair was sticking to my neck and I had the ac blasting in the van. And I have one unit on in my house the pollen is thick so I dont want to open the windows and someone is burning and  it stinks..so I will turn the ac off when I head off to bed which wont be long from now.  The heat makes me feel tired. 

I need to hang my hummingbird feeder I think I saw one zooming by at the speed of sound.
