Bad Apples?

The weather here is a daily changing thing..we had that gorgeous day yesterday with our head under the hood of the car, and it seems that my son has hit about the worst streak of bad karma anyone could hit..Now his washing machine, "mom and my old one" is not spinning and draining.  I have repaired this lid switch so many times, I know exactly which one to order so ordered 2 of the dang things...one for now one for later..thankfully they are cheap!! Got 2 for $13 free shipping..

BUT then he got some good news he can't officially start a new job till that SSA sends his new card WHO knows how long it will take but the Unemployment we filed sent him money SO finally he got some good news just in time as I was having to start picking up some of  his financial slack..I can't seem to convince him of the merit in having a good chunk of money in savings.  Child support is what keeps him poor to be honest.  And Next Tuesday he has a hearing for a decrease because he is not earning near as much now as he did when the order was issued 9 yrs ago.  

This hearing was filed for Last October it's almost a year due to all the delays this is the 3rd reschedule he has had! I hope that the amount they have taken this year so far will more than cover the whole yr when he gets a reduction, so maybe HE can begin to save and get a car..

NOW about the car..I'm keeping my phone handy as the pick up gal in case,... but he left in it this morning it started pretty much right up...and no WHITE vapor at the tailpipe! He said it's amazing...I said "lets don't count our chickens before they hatch". 

But he has been gone for a couple hours running errands etc and so far no phone call for roadside pick up!! Good news to me. Who would have thought...but let me not jinx it either by saying anything...we will give it a good solid week before passing judgement on the Product. 

So we have a cool breezy day on tap today and whatever remains of Hurricane Sally will be coming right over us...2-3 inches of rain is what they said,  it did some major flooding in Alabama and Florida... it collapsed parts of the Pensacola Bridge.  Wonderful can't wait...not!!

I got busy with some yard chores after my walk and my son left on his maiden solo voyage...the fence that encloses a part of woods where the dogs roam in the back needed some extra posts one section was drooping over.  This fence is made with metal posts but I guess we ran out of metal and used a couple of wood posts and they had rotted so I put in 3 new posts from a cedar tree I had cut last yr and sawed into 3 posts...I cut up a couple more of the large limbs that fell in last weeks wind for firewood...And Then I decided to spend some time in the screen porch watching the birds at the feeders, some large Mourning Doves are attempting to get on the small feeders and they keep falling off.  Im gonna toss some corn out for them they like it.

This was epic!  So ABC hosted a Townhall between Donald and uncommitted voters, see he is ALWAYS surrounded by his posse of  supporters so this time he is in the shark tank! They asked him some tough questions and his answers were pretty much Double Talk! Did you notice at his latest rally HE was right away mentioning about the incident where  2 sheriff's officers were shot point blank and he was all over that...but he has YET to address the brutality of the citizens KILLED  by COPS! He dances all around the question...and when he said Almost all cops support him, well there you go!!He said that's a lack of respect...being shot at while being a cop...but if a cop shots at  you while being black that is just how did he say it, oh yeah he said... "they choked". The Cops killing people, are "some bad apples" in the police department.  BUT he left out the most important of that assumption....and they should be tried for MURDER. Yes they are bad they are very BAD...let us hold them accountable that is the point. 

Doesn't that also mean there's some Bad Apples in our citizens too.. they happen to be the ones shooting at police??  They get charged, these bad apple cops get a slap on the fanny a THAT A BOY and off you go. Put their asses in jail. 

He said when people dumped water on the heads of cops in NY during a protest those cops should of turned around and "done something" to my ears he was saying they should have SHOT the protesters.  So cops who kill are bad apples, citizens who kill are horrible hell bound demons,,,Ok got it. That is what I call a Double Standard.  

HE wants to basically destroy the protesters in Portland..he blames Democratic Governors for all the violence, but mostly it's BIG cities of huge populations who happen to have Democratic Governors.  You are not going to get Democratic Governors  in IOWA, or KANSAS, or NORTH DAKOTA nobody lives there first off...except white people of privilege who are mostly Republican voters.  

Farmers who depend on Subsidies, Ranchers who graze their cattle on Public Lands, Oil  and pipeline workers  who need a man like Trump to make sure they can drill baby drill, and lastly suburban whites who don't want to co-exists with anyone who is not like them. The Midwest is the "forgotten middle class"  How come they can't reinvent themselves without government help?? I really don't get it.   

It is not reasonable to say all cities with large crime volume are Democrat run...more truth is in this statement..."Most larger Cities are heavily populated, and larger populations means more crime! That is logical.  

It's so funny how he thinks it's okay to tromp on one of our Constitutional Rights, the right to protest, and yet NO ONE has the right to deny the bearing of arms he keeps telling his supporters "they want to take away  your guns"...and on th is end he is saying " I want to take away your right to protest." so more bad apples? Protesters=evil demons, gun toting beer bellies=Bad apples?  got it,,,,

But .....lets put his theory to test...
Houston TX a Republican RUN STATE has double the violent crime of Portland Oregon. The USA  as a whole has 22.7% of crimes are violent, in Portland 21.7% is violent crime barely at or just below national average, while Houston has 50.4% violent crime...so that's more than double the National Average,....so what's the deal there ...bad apples or evil democrats?  It's more about income per-capita,  concentration than anything else...and there is NO statistic to show HOW convicted criminals voted! So just because a Governor is Democratic does not mean it's the Democrats  who are committing or allowing the crimes, it could be the disgruntled Republican Citizens there is NO data to make this assumption. 

Like I said he makes stuff up! His answers were not presidential I wished ABC had made one youtube of the whole townhall but they didn't that I found, it was per question asked...so you can google it up and read more for yourself, I saw it was on, but I knew I was not going to watch him I get kind of sick to my stomach just seeing him move his face soooo....

I'M beginning to sense there's flies all over the place with all these Bad Apples, beginning to fester and rot.

ORKED so far...not instantly but it's better each time...

Tuedsday 15th
Speaking of the Bars Leak Head Gasket Seal...we put the new thermostat and housing on that old thermostat was toast!!  We worked good as a team on this...Im happy to report.   We put the Bar's Gasket Sealer in the radiator and followed the instructions..one problem is the car is not starting right up...it takes several attempts. 

When the Gasket fails, water gets into the cylinders, one cylinder def has been breached..and so each time the cylinder goes UP it pushes the water that has gotten into it up to the spark plug so that makes the spark go out. When this water gets hot in the cylinder it vaporises immediately and white steam pours out and water drips from the tailpipe. 

The white steam is all but stopped we ran it for 18-20 mins in idle after we put the sealer in and then let it cool refilled the radiator, then drove it 15 mins easy...then let it cool and drove it to town and had the oil changed as the water gets into the oil.  About 1/2 way to town the white steam stopped coming out of the tailpipe...I was following behind in my van, but when we picked it up from the oil change it almost didn't start  then it did and no white steam out of the tail pipe. Son said it has a misfire...probably that plug...So we hope that plug dries out overnight.  

And we will recheck the radiator to see how much water it used on the way into town, tomorrow, we worked on it from 10 am and then the trip to town for the oil change, and back home by 5.  BUT it took only 2 hrs to change out the thermostat and follow the directions for the sealer, then we had lunch..got cleaned up headed to town got the oil change and called it a day IM bushed! 

SO results: we think it worked!! But it was probably a big hole  in the Head Gasket so it did not seal immediately on the box it says it could take as many as 3 days of normal driving to make a good complete seal..

We had a great day weather wise...we worked out all day and did not sweat!! Almost could not believe it.I plan to turn my AC off tonight I had it off most of the day put it on till 3 pm when we left to go into town.  And once the sun sets I will have an open windows night!

IM tired I am not used to spending an entire day with another human.  Except my Mom...we were so comfortable together...but I found myself happy to get some time alone when all the days chores were over.

I don't think it's right for people to be unable to voice their political support on THEIR social media, a lady who works in a school said they were warned that they can not put political posts on their social media...BUT that is like a right of the first amendment...A social media page is an extension of you...it's your voice in the world..SO I completely disagree with being censored by your employer, if it's the school's FB page or Twitter, I agree!

So the leader of the HHS, Caputo, went balistic...and ranted on a FB LIVE staffer meeting.. and some of what he said was this:

Trump will win the November general election, but Biden, the Democratic nominee, will refuse to concede, Caputo said, adding that when Trump "refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin."

Caputo told staffers that his series of false accusations on Facebook Live this weekend — which included unfounded allegations that the Centers for Disease Control was harboring a “resistance unit” — reflected poorly on HHS’ communications office.

He had more trite to share, and as I just said you should be able to put what you want on your social media....but if you are a Government official speaking to your department that is hardly appropriate...and  if you are just making stuff up....that is just crazy.  I believe we can share YOUR opinion but not just make stuff up...commenting on something already reported yes, express your view of someone's behavior or an action they have made....OK, but he just made stuff up.  And he's basically trying to say he is coming apart at the seams, then he should resign..he is not the man for the job. 

There is no past evidence of vote by mail fraud and yet Donald keeps saying it is...that is simply not the truth...BUT no one has told him to SHUT UP! I'd like to write him and tell him what a jerk he is but he would probably have one of his dog pack look into how he could HURT me! Like take away my retirement income, or cancel my identity...I would not put that type thing past him, as he has retaliated against people who don't like him! 

Speaking of that...we had to mail the drivers' license to the SSA to get the replacement card..wish us luck that they don't loose it!! OMG what a nightmare...I called and even tho the website says they take appointments they DO NOT, and the photo text link thing did not work, some issue with my son's phone and how it is set up and it has to be a photo taken with his phone..in his name so he decided sending it off is the only other way to get the card replaced at this time...And it could take 15 days to get it I hope this does not affect his new hire!! 

So now Im ready for a shower and some relaxing time...The dogs have eaten and both are on the floor asleep.  I don't allow my dogs on the furniture...since I raised them from pups they don't know anything else, I never had to tell them they can't get on the furniture..they were never invited to get on it, so they don't even consider that an option. Im so happy they have their space and I have mine.  

We expect 2 - 3 inches of rain on Thursday because of hurricane Sally...so we'll see how that goes!  

what happened to normal?

ATER and OIL don't Mix...

We picked up the unrepaired car...it's not that the car won't run it will...but it overheats.  He has little  faith on my suggested fix using the Bar's Leak Head Gasket Sealer;I read many like 30 reviews and they said It worked..there was one guy who said it did not work....and some said it worked but only for a couple months...and he may be right it's a 50/50 shot...But I just have a feeling it may work...if not It's not the end of the world. 

IT may slow down the overheating process? He could drive back n forth to work and this could give him some time to look for something else, it's not like he can get anything until he starts his new job and they hold you back 2 weeks so.... I don't want my wheels to stop rolling because he did not take care of his car! That is not fair...It could last a day it could last a week! One guy said his went 10 yrs after he used the sealer.  I know results will vary. 

The new job is 4.7 miles away takes 8 minutes to drive there...so it's not like he would be stranded miles from home if the car breaks down then he can call me.  I was thinking to pump up the tires on the bike and let  him put that on the rack...LOL does that sound unreasonable??  Im only teasing of course...but I rode a bike to the train and back for a year when I lived in NYC...or I walked the 14 blocks to the L train when I lived in the city..to get to work in Brooklyn...It is different here tho cars do not respect bikes. 

One thing you don't do is make things worse for someone when things are not going good.  

My mom used to tell a story about her brother...she grew up in the mountains of Tennessee...they were poor and they lived by the seat of their pants.  Hwy 30 ...down to the Sequatchie Valley where the closest town was, the road was steep and curvy.  So mom's brother had this old car and it was only going in reverse so he reversed all the way up the mountain!! Can you imagine doing that?  You had to see this mountain...SCARY! 

So tomorrow  we'll be working on the car.  Getting a replacement SS card so far has not been easy either! ..this is a different world, We used to have a SS office right here in our town..it was small just a couple of workers, they closed that down and now there is offices 30 miles in either direction and they are not taking appointments,  due to Covid even tho on the national website it says you can make an appointment. 

So it has to be done online, but when he tried he entered something that didn't check out like "what was the amount you paid into SS on your last W-2" he put in the wrong info and it locked him out! So he called, the lady unlocked it but can he find the info?....it's ridiculous. In order to stop FRAUD you can't even do your own business!! 

Anyways good thing we got the Drivers License, cause he def had to have that to get the SS card, and he needs to get a copy of the SS card to his new employer so it's a Sh*& storm for sure.  

This morning I walked to the stop sign...it got hot so quickly...well humid, it's not hot it's  81 but with humidity of 69% that's a glass more than half full of Water!  So I was soaked when I got home and then finished up some more shrub trimming I had to do.

I have not listened to much news I heard Donald speaking to his followers at a rally on NBC news a snippet he was saying basically if Biden is elected the world will end...at least HIS world will end...and HIS HOLD on their minds.   All these books coming out but I won't waste my money on a book about him I can see who he is by his actions. The truth is right there in front of us and the World to see.  This is what scares me, he has SHOWN his hand so what about the stuff he is HIDING? Im sure we can't even imagine it all. 

Our Lt Gov has Covid! But it's all under control according to Donald! He said he acted early, but he did not...and he is NOT following the guidelines, and tells the people at his rally who are not following Governor issued guidelines, he has their back.  Who knows maybe they can be the first  his test dummies for the hurry up vaccine. 

Just to show how people can be brain washed...I saw a snippet of the DR Phil show..normally I don't bother in the afternoon when my day is done I want to see the news, Dr Phil comes on right before the news...his show at one time was about the psychology of our lives but now it's more like a place where the weirdest of the weird come to get on tv. So this woman says she is Mother God...and she has a cult following.  She pretends that she can't walk, and she pretends to heal people according to her she has removed tumors from people...she also drinks  30 beers a day! 

She uses tactics like sleep deprivation to control people.  And yet there were people saying "yes she is Mother God"...they actually believe that. Some others were able to escape.  The woman is a nut case.  Making people go with one hour of sleep per night! The cult is called "Love is One" 

AND she abused a cat..omg I had to turn it then...OH and I still have not calmed down from the anger I felt for this person.  I hope Dr Phil turns her into the authorities. 

And in our area, I keep seeing these ads when I turn the news on for the Lincoln Project! I'ts pretty graphic...it has maggots and worms and termites, and it has Lindsey Graham a senator from my state who I despise and Donald featured in it,..so I googled them up..it's a group formed by current and past Republicans who are trying to STOP Donald from being re-elected! 

There's some strange people out there and we ended up with one in the White House!!

Sunday 13th

so that was my answer...

When my son said he did not look forward to me driving him around...

BAD news cause the head gasket is blown in his car..so we are not going to allow the mechanic to work on it we will pick it up tomorrow.  It would cost twice the value of the car since it's OLD and has many issues..including body damage..so we're going to try the Head Gasket Sealer just to see if it will help at all..it's worth a try to do that so if that's no good we will sell for scrap....The car has 400,000 miles on it! Yes it's a 2001 Chevy Blazer...and it's been a really good car.  My son did not take care of it, if he had it would be running like a top as it had a great motor in it..

So until we get his wheels situation figured out we will be sharing MY van.

So we'll see how that goes....he got a job, not doing anything he wants to do I won't go into  detail about my son's life as I don't think he would appreciate it at all..BUT since he has not had a car we are spending more time together...that is one good thing..

Released the bird this morning after his treatment, he was ready to go...he flew straight up to a branch with no aimless fluttering sort of akin to stumbling in the dark which he had done prior to my getting him...he went right up to a limb and made a perfect landing looked back at me like he Won somehow and I'd say he did..another winner. He responded to treatment so well, no redness, no swelling, he was seeing 100%. 

So last night Svengoolie, was so crazy an Arizona rancher was over run with Giant Attack Rabbits look menacing and large...Anyways I did giggle but I did not like the way it began with some actual footage of people in Australia herding up rabbits and shooting them...it was called the Night of Lepus

Anyway it was another simple lazy Saturday night at home just zoning out on the couch while the dogs snored on the rug beside me.  That is the kind of evening I enjoy.  And now my Sunday is pretty much over it's almost time to give the girls their dinner so Im typing this and watching: Finding Your Roots.  I enjoy this show.  It's a blend of history, family stories and research. 

 I started an Ancestry Family Tree for our roots.  It took me about 3 yrs to get my sister interested but once she was hooked she purchased  an account so we had more access and we have been able to really expand the tree to 8 generations back and now she is working on the branches of the trees.  We have been able to uncover many family secrets, mysteries, and amazing facts.  We can both sign  in and work on the tree.  

She  applied for membership into the DAR,  The Daughters of the American Revolution.  In order to be accepted you have to prove through your lineage that you had A direct line Ancestor who was a Veteran of the American Revolution. We actually have that lineage on both sides of our tree via my Mom and My Dad's line.  So she goes to meetings and she holds an  office  in their chapter. I don't know the exact title but it has to do with Research. 

 It was much warmer this morning, more humid than it is right now..I took a walk about 10 am to the stop sign.  SO many butterflies feeding on the wild flowers alongside the road.  Fall is the time we have more wild plants in flower than in Spring.  Im glad the mowers have already been through and they did not come down this dirt road...so the flowers are spared as of now. 

My sis sent me an article about how the migrating birds are so confused by the smoke in the west, and the cold blast that hit the area early when tempts fell from 70 down to 30.  Hundreds of birds have died!! It's so horrible.  Our Planet is also under the attack of a virus and it's US, human beings, and all the pollution and mayhem we helped to create. 

The devastation of the wildfires is just so horrible, I can't imagine anything worse than returning to find your home in ashes. Your sanctuary full of your family treasurers and all the memories of time spent there...GONE.....This is a concern of mine.  My mom and I had a pact if one of us lost our home we would not rebuild we would live together in the remaining home...but now my son is in her home...Oh my.  

So the girls are now fed, Floss decided she would go nap on the screen porch and my Sgt. Annie is here with me, making sure I keep the hearth going for the 3 of us.  My small and simple life comes to a peaceful Sunday evening conclusion.

I think it's a given. I listened to Nova on PBS and so very interesting, wish it had not been at 5 am this morning...maybe I could have read the captions with my glasses on.  

OKAY the whole thing goes way beyond my education...but in a nut shell CRISPR or Cas-9 is a way of splicing DNA.  Ok think old time movie file editing,,,they spliced out the unwanted part by actually cutting it out with scissors..then they tape it back together with that part gone, or they cut a segment out of another piece of film and add that into the splice...that makes it easy to understand right?

If you take the DNA and turn it into an alphabetic sequence then it may look like this...with the same message along it's strand...repeated.

But  look at this example..  AACCDDTSSVVAA  There is a problem...the RR is now a T...so in this strand of DNA something is not quite right...so if you could synthesize an RNA which is a genetic messenger in with a correction to splice out that T and replace it with the correct RR then problem solved.  This abnormality could be a disease, a genetic one or it could be a virus...we have talked about how a virus takes over your computer and makes it do weird things if it gets past your virus protection so once in a virus can change your operating system to now include that virus changing the RR to a T

So the RNA duplicates it'self and then carries the original operating system and commands to override the virus...this is sort of how immunity is created.  With the CRISPR-Cas9 system now scientists can replicate RNA use the Cas-9 (a protein) to split out the "bad" gene and then insert the replicated RNA that will carry in a new set of instructions. 

All very above my head and I don't pretend to know how it works but I can understand how it could change the genetic make up of a living organism.  I can also see the potential for a Horror Show and I can see the benefits of it...

The horror show would be the "perfect human race" and the benefits would be to stamp out Cancer and other genetic problems like Sickle Cell Anemia or even deafness.  

...one deaf lady said to stamp deafness out is to deny the diversity that deafness brings to the human existence.  I can see what she means but given how much I love to hear a bird sing I would say she has not heard that and can not speak for all when she makes that assumption.  Meanwhile they are raising genetically altered pigs who will be organ donors for human transplant. Mainly hearts. 

This same science they are attempting to use to create vaccines...I don't think the knowledge is where it needs to be yet to make it work the way they want it to work, in theory yes, but as long as there is the Human Equation involved there will be Mistakes! Like the Atom Bomb...yes it works but at what cost? We created the computer now it is changing us.  We will know in 100 years if it created a Horror Story or not...personally I think it did for our continued life on the Planet.  

Pandora's box is open...and we are forgetting HOW to exist on our own Planet.  Not many could survive outside the cocoon of our present shelter...just look at the people being displaced by fire, they didn't run into the uninhabited wilderness to have their needs met...they ran toward civilization. 

One thing about the splicing of the DNA is, it would not create mutants unless they change the DNA in the egg or the sperm...so we wont have it passed on to our young if the vaccine makes us all into some sort of misfit...it will die with us, unless they go about trying to fix the problem they created and somehow make it even worse into some sort of mutation that does invade the procreation cells...like a blank canvas you start painting and then you don't like it so you add more paint and more paint till it's just a mess and there is nothing to do but scrap it and start over. 

Then the question of GOD of course is raised....okay well if a god created us, why all the mistakes? We come with so many defects.  Some say we're too far from the source to remain perfect but then where did the Original defect come from? It had to be in the sperm or the egg...Evolution creates blind moles, but if they begin to live above ground would they see again...evolution says they will...
So the environment around us can cause our genetics to change and evolve over time, if we put our environment back to "perfection" maybe that will erase the evolution that has made us sickly and changed us??  We changed our environment and in turn it is changing us. 

So much to think about!!

So if they bring back the Woolly Mammoth where it will live? 80,000 out on the plains....the plains of where? South Dakota, Siberia, Africa?  They say a clone has a short life span...so will these transplanted hearts last half as long as they should?  I don't know why I guess because somehow the environment around it knows it's a fake? These are all questions that will be answered in time I'm sure.  I told  you that I never believed man came from Ape..the missing link, were  we brought here some place else?...or the Big Bang theory?...it's not anymore far fetched that this super Energy of some sort who one day went abra-ca-dabra...
And then you go and ask...

"well how did the Aliens get there, before they came here?"

It keeps switching back n forth from the old to the new...I dislike the new it's like a really bad version of the original..I did figure out I was  in html mode, the dashboard I'm not keen on....and it doesn't seem to matter to Google that we really DON'T want a change!  Since when does dissing your creators help increase  viewers... Its free to use so why? 

Okay all I do is complain...wish I could find my happy place.  I got up with a pounding headache...made me afraid because I'm thinking Covid is coming back to finish me off.  That was my first symptom.  I took a generic pain reliever...

Yesterday I watched a news report about this telle-health...most of the opioid addictions in the country came  from DOCTORS prescribing the shit!  So the lesson here is if they prescribe it tell them if you get addicted because they don't monitor you and keep that from happening you will SUE THEM...that should keep them from prescribing! 

We have enough trouble in the country...honestly they don't care.  There is a drug called buprenorphine that is now being prescribed to help people get off the drugs the doctors put them on those SAME doctors say it helps people get off Opioids.  A step down drug?? It seems like another hole to fall in, but this is being dispensed to people via an internet visit..How can a doctor evaluate you without being in the room with you? No Blood pressure, NO Head to Toe, heck as a Paramedic I can't even begin to understand, OK you can see if they look like they are OD'd maybe.

So Im waiting on my "tardy" son we are going to the DMV this may be why I have a headache.  I'm sure they are not going to allow people in the waiting area so no clue how it will be handled...guess we shall see I will wait in the van but it's HOT so...not looking forward to this whole mess...and we will stop to see if his car has even been looked at it.  I wanted to take it to another garage where the guy works alone, and he works on one car till it's done.  But my son had other ideas..

So I have another bird in my infirmary.  Snatched him off the feeder, the same one I tried to get the other day along with a snake...So he responded well to just one treatment! Hope he will be good to go in a few days.  Some birds respond to the treatment faster than others his eyes looked Horrible...but they were 50% better this morning! He had a crusty scab on his eye when I caught him the salve helped to make that come off so that was a big improvement.

If you saw the news then you know the latest dirt  uncovered about Donald...yet many think it's all just Democrats making up stuff even tho there is VIDEO and VOICE recordings of him implicating himself and exposing his own actions! Amazing.  As I figured it was the Stock Market he was worried about not human life...and  where is he on the west going up in Flames??? He sent out a Goon Squad to Portland to tear gas people where is a relief squad for the victims who are losing their homes?

At least when  you came back to your home it may still be there!! And why doesn't the forest service do controlled burns during Monsoon?  It seems they are not addressing this problem,,,,most of these fires start in a National or State forest! If you're overseeing these lands, that should include Fire Suppression on a daily basis, digging fire walls, small controlled burns  where lots of deadfall has occurred, and clearing streams of debris so they can flow and create dampness...Just seems backassward, cause if the Forest Service hired more personnel to work as Fire Suppressors, and had more equipment, wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run for the Govt??? Instead they have these bureaucratic departments like FEMA..it costs millions and then the state declares a disaster and that's Billions...wouldn't it make more sense to give MORE JOBS to the forest service and expand it so this can be prevented???

Just some ideas off the top of my head! There is too much emphasis in this country on Clean Up Crews rather than Prevention??? From Opioids, to Pandemics, to Fire!  To Police Crime....Do we never learn??? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure right??

2PM we left about 10, 1/2 hr late! Omg...

Anyways now Im back home so here is how it went at the DMV at the entrance is a lady set up at a card table behind a plexiglass screen wearing a mask..you tell her why you're there she gives you the forms you need gets your cell phone number, and you go out and to your car fill out your papers and they text when it's your turn to come in..
Pretty simple! BUT it took 48 mins for him to get his text..see I didn't want him driving my van with NO Driver's License on him...that could be trouble for me! So that is why I had to go along since his car is in the shop.

When we backed out to leave this lady backed  out same time and she bumped into my cargo carrier I had it on the back of the van..🔗🔗 No dents but a black smudge on her car! We barely nudged each other...

At the garage, excuses excuses the car has not been touched!! This is why I didn't want to go there I wanted to go to Teri's Garage...but my son has dealt with these guys before so he wanted them...so the guy who will be doing it said he didn't work yesterday he had a migraine and he still has it, He did look pretty awful to be honest but more Like Jack Daniels awful....so he said call him Monday morning! 

Son has a job interview tomorrow...so things are moving along now still gotta get his ss card replaced! That will take a little time, we no longer have an office in our town and you have to make an appointment! So I guess he will do it online, and then it will be mailed. 

So not much of deep thinking in today's post...but It's Friday and another week is history...so lets just keep xxx'ing off those days and deal with what come our way.

If we didn't have journalists we'd so be in the dark, why do you think Donald is always attacking the media?  So this new book by Bob Woodward is telling us that Donald said he withheld information about the virus because he didn't want a Pandemic Panic...what he means is a WALL ST PANIC cause we know he don't give a rat's a$$ about people...so while he downplayed the news of how deadly the virus could be...people were already being infected.
China did tell him it was very contagious and yet in the beginning if you recall he Blamed China for downplaying it.  Since when does he care about the population being upset? He incites fear, he preaches fear, he is a fear monger.  He tells his beer belly audience that the Liberal Democrats are going to take away their way of life...meaning what exactly? He has convinced them them of something--> but what?

And a whistleblower from Homeland Security said the White House knew about the campaign by the Russians  to smear Joe Biden and they hid that to protect Donald
...
meanwhile the AG BARR has  filed to a federal Judge to have the USA become the Defendent in a case where Donald is accused of RAPE, and then while in office Donald smeared Jean Carroll's character..so now in order for HIM to not pay for this civil suit...He has put his "insane bulldog Barr" who should end up behind bars with Donald to intervene in the case according to news reports,,,,this way it is YOU And I who will foot  his legal bill if he loses....I think he is BROKE and if he should lose that legal suit he would be penniless....Barr said this is done frequently but others are saying NO WAY IT is NOT. So he wants US to believe him. I don't. 

Speaking of which $58 million of Donald's campaign money is going to pay legal fees!!  This is not uncommon but the amount is...I guess this is why he is begging for money he knows he is going to lose the election so he is trying to pay off as many of these legal fees while he can still get idiots to send him money.  Joe Biden out raised the GOP this month by like 100 million dollars! He raised $364 million dollars! That should buy a lot of tv ads!! Biden said most of the money is grassroots people donating for the first time!

People I think we are gonna win this thing..if we don't we're all screwed.....daily news reports of the corruption Donald has been up to and will continue to be up to has changed some of the minds out there...the hard core Donald Party are not fixable..so we must move on.  They will continue to take up their arms against us blow us away while we shop, gather, worship, or protest...this is WHO they are.  Hopefully once another generation or two has passed that group will eventually die out of old age!  AND if we put these white supremacists on trial for hate crimes that may be a good deterrent. Make them THINK About the time the crime will bring!

Without writtin's from the Journalists, the authors, the citizens watch groups we will end up like Russia...or China...or worse!! We must keep reading and keeping our ears open to the drums of injustice and spread the news...NO everything we read or hear is not true...but the majority of it IS..Some people even said 9/11 was a hoax, I beg to differ..it was not.

Still rainy and pretty nasty with 94% humidity today!! Thursday---> I keep reminding myself I have not gotten a handle on this week...and I don't understand why? I did nothing special on Labor Day, I didn't have a BBQ, I didn't have a day off work, I didn't sleep in, I didn't have friends over, I did NOTHING different...this just goes to show how mind control works and the power of suggestion. Hopefully I will catch up. Maybe on Saturday I can start fresh with another silly Svengoolie movie I forgot to see whats on this week, maybe I can reset my brain and get the days right in my head when I see the rubber chickens fly and that means it's Saturday night!

the poor kids....

When I was young sometimes my dad used to pile all of us in the car and take us to the drive in movies.  The best part was the Bugs Bunny cartoons they used to show at the beginning and during intermission...when everyone walked up to the concessions stand or the guy came around yelling  "popcorn, pnuts,  and ice cold drinks"! Sometimes Dad would buy us ONE popcorn to share and one drink...there was 5 of us counting mom. 

I recall seeing this movie where a dinosaur swallowed a man whole and you could see the man sliding down the long throat thru the skin of the dinosaur.  I had bad dreams about that for years.  Anyways it was not until I was an adult that I figured out WHY my dad took us to the drive in movies...

after the movie there was a Bingo Game! You could win money..he got one card for each person in the car and kids under 12 got in free...that was 2 of us getting in free. 

So he took us to the movie, but he was there to play bingo...and I thought he was being a good Dad...oh well I guess it was a win win, but I don't know if he ever won at Bingo cause by the time the movie was over and they started the monotonous drone thru the 2 speakers hanging from the half wall rolled windows of the old Plymouth , B-6, B-6...
I was sound asleep in the back seat with my sisters, three tired little kids on a Friday night after a long trying school week.
