Good Friday for me so far...

ILL I GET TO FLY MY FLAG AGAIN SOON?

I am very hopeful.  I just found out 300,000 ballots in FL were stuck in a Post Office not delivered...I hope DeJoy gets Contempt of Court since a Fed Judge said he was to scan every post office and certify that all ballots were delivered on time...so sure didn't happen.  IM so sick of these arrogant republicans who think the law does not apply to them. 

GA and PA now look like they will go to Biden also...Trump is so done,,,,he can whine, sue etc...recounts will show the count is fair and right.  Is he going to say the mail in ballots of Soldiers overseas are not legal?  He said its fraud for people who forgot to sign their ballot to be contacted and told to come in and sign it...BUT why is he not complaining about any state that he won in? See if there is fraud perpetrated by the Democrats as he says, why not in all states...why not in CA? Cause it's a lie. 

And we're still stuck with McConnell and Graham...that is the sad part and the fact that so many American's would vote for that Liar Trump astounds me.  I would vote for a Split to make the West a seperate Nation and give the Right the East...but you know I bet even if we did that "they" would want to come fight us to Force us to be like them.  :o(  See how some of them ran out with their guns and tried to scare and intimidate voters in Lane County Oregon.   I'd like to know what Trump has to say about that??

 NOW that is what should be going to court.  WHY can assholes with guns have any legal leg to stand on...Now forgive my following statement but this is how strongly I feel about that...I would have got out of my car and told that jerk, "I hope you're prepared to use that gun cause I'm about to slap the snot outta you if you don't get outta my way! People actually left and didn't put their ballot in the box!! AND they called the cops, cops did NOTHING! See cops are for that kind of behavior...as long as it's White Men holding the guns! 

Biden said, "the US government is quite capable of escorting Trespassers out of the White House"! When someone asked him what would he do if Trump refuses to leave. 
"Georgia will have a recount...4,000 votes so far separating the 2, but if Biden gets AZ and NV the states Trump is up in the air about won't matter....but the whole thing will take the weekend and maybe beyond.

So to get away from it all today on an excellent weather day, I went hiking and did some birding too...Had a really good day I was relaxed, just into Nature...exploring all the nature on display on the edges of the trail and up in the trees, ponds, and fields.  I got a New Bird for my Sandhills list I've never seen a Tundra Swan there before..so elegant and a small flock of Ring Neck Ducks were there too...some Mallard, and Wood Ducks!  

In small forest birds the Golden Crowned Kinglet was the star of that show with his little golden crest showing..I found lots of Fall Color still displaying too...and some butterflies on late blooming flowers...

I guess I hiked about 4 miles today I got pretty tired! I had a nice break at one of the picnic tables, and then did more driving the refuge roads  getting in out of the van to check the ponds..Just a wonderful day..I want every day to be like that.  If only that could be possible.   

Im about to watch the Nightly News on NBC I normally get my news from them or PBS, I trust both...now if nothing happens between now and bedtime I had a good day.

e still don't know

It almost seems like this is the proper nightmare that is deserved by any country that would elect a complete corrupt man into the highest office..I can't believe the garbage he is tweeting...but guess what TWEETS DONT MATTER.  I almost upchuck when I have to see or hear his voice...the whispery voice that gives me the total creeps. 

The race is soooo close but the whining tweeter wants the counting to stop.  And he and his his followers say Democrats are trying to steal the election...OK last time I looked the elections are run by each States election committee just regular people are hired to do the job, they get paid very little, and it appears to be a skeleton crew based on what their budgets allow...So poor planning all the way around...I don't know if we need a universal voting model,or not.  I think having a model done by states preserves the Democracy better, but I think immediate counting is the best way to go..not this agonizing waiting. 

However its' the same type committee's in the states he won so why is it  only the states he has not clearly won are the ones doing something wrong??..SC which declared him a winner like at 8 pm...that night is STILL counting Ballots...so why has he said nothing about that why not tell them to stop counting? That is what takes any credibility away from his nagging and complaining and his stupid lawsuits...

And now he speaks lets see what he is gonna say Im sure it will be more whining about the Democrats, and the infamous THEY he always is complaining about...so 

here comes the big thug...and he is saying the polls were suppression polls, well they did the same thing 4 yrs ago and YET he got elected?  So how do you make that fly.
He said his lead was whittled away by illegal votes that came in after the election in states run by Democrats....but the State's Law said that was legal to do...they have very strict rules and so NO one is gonna vote after the date they have said is allowed.  

Continuing he said they would not let them have observers in the counting rooms or they were told to stand back 60 ft. due to covid...but they have been in there all the while...NOT his hand picked observers because that is not allowable...so that is a lie...
ABC just cut him off and is now interviewing one of their experts. There are NO ILLEGAL VOTES...Im glad they cut him off..

He says we can only count the Legal Votes the ones for  HIM and he swears that the election is being interfered with by the media, the other side, and how they spent so much money against him wall st bankers etc.  He is basically saying he won but THEY are trying to deny it.  He said his campaign was funded by firemen and farmers...okay then! More Lies of course., how about his Mari Largo fund raisers all mega wealthy donors...explain that.  

It's so clearly a power grab at his point for him to say STOP or recount or any such thing.  SO Now he thinks he can RULE each states election but when it comes to the Virus handling "Its up to each state to figure that out, Im not responsible." excuse me? 

I just want him gone. Once he is NOT in office his following is a cult.  SO does that mean they can be labeled terrorists, and he a terrorist leader? I think so...Im going to watch a Youtube movie tonight instead of the constant 1 % increase to one side then the same increase to the other side...

I hope the States learned a lesson, you should count the vote when it is received do not stock pile then try to count...that makes no sense and it causes all this stress and room for the evil among us to claim fowl...It's insane.  IF Trump wanted a fast result why didn't he do something to encourage states to begin counting the minute ballots are received...instead he worked to slow the ballots arriving via US MAIL, then he tried to stop the 3 days counting time period...he tried to stop drive up Voting, and Ballot Drops, he tried to reduce the number of Drop boxes, he did all he could to slow it down and that worked!! ITS SLOWED due to his interference. 

Total backfire...

If it goes the opposite of what I desire...that means 4 more years of disgust, disbelief, and tyranny.   The USA  is dying...and we will have to be reanimated once he is gone!

Today Joe Biden went to a Corona Virus Briefing what was Trump doing "tweeting" stop the count.  So who would you want as your Leader?  we are not p icking up many Senate seats, but the mid terms are coming in 2 yrs.

Yahoo mail wrote to me today...I had a yahoo mail account for years, but stopped using it because Yahoo sucks.  I use Gmail and will never go back to Yahoo...with all those ads, and it's just a pia to deal with ...so I've forwarded my mail from yahoo..so they told me that's no longer gonna be free and they will charge me $1 a month to keep forwarding the mail...so I replied NO WAY...I had all Mom's business hooked up to that yahoo mail since so many things need an email and she had none so I was using that for her stuff now That I closed the bank account, and I've already changed all my important stuff to my gmail..So I feel that I really don't need yahoo...and the I got my renew for my Pro Flickr account..$60 so I said screw that too...

Im just done with being bullied by Yahoo...I do have a free Flickr account also you can get a small one free.  I went thru my Flickr and downloaded all the photos I had of Mom and Casey in there, and that's really all I wanted but that means SOME past photos in this blog will no longer be available...so sorry about that. 

Barely Slept last night...

HAT A MESS...

I do wish that states who don't normally have mail in voting would not have had it this year Although I personally think it's FINE, it has left a hole for Trump who is so desperate to poke this finger through to hold onto his golden cow so much so that he is willing to break the LAW to try and steal the election results...Biden is leading with popular and electoral votes. At this hour 4 pm Wednesday...

SO what does Trump do he is trying to file law suits to stop the vote counting...in 2 states Michigan and Pennsylvania.  And both of these states are handling their elections Legally as their law states. AND Trump got on tv last night at 2:30 am saying HE won, they just need to stop counting the ballots.  OMG  SO the minute Biden won Wisconsin Trump said We want a recount..and they can ask for that in 3 days not today...
Biden is about to speak he spoke last night about midnight and said "lets allow the process to take place." Since so many states are very close it means the divide is deep and it's huge. 

So Biden said "we will come together and be the United States, and it looks like we are on path to get 270 electoral votes...so Joe is saying, As soon as this is over we are ONE people under one President.  He said the turn out showed Democracy is alive and well...SO Now we will see what the dump has to say Im sure he will rip that apart as he leans on a podium tilted to one side never standing up straight he speaks from his "ego" And this is all about him.  He cares NOT for the USA and the people of it. 

Biden just took Michigan and now Biden has 253 electoral votes. Biden  has 70K more votes and there is still 3%  votes to count in that state...so if Trump wants to stop counting  He loses...cause he does not have enough to win.  Trumps twitter's have been labeled by Twitter as NOT TRUE his statement that the voting system is doing something illegal by continuing to count mail in ballots.  IF the supreme court should overturn the decision MI made to count for 3 days, then we know a total corrupt Supreme Court is what we have. 

I feel so much better to see the electoral and the popular vote equaling up..this leaves ALMOST no wiggle room for Trump to sue on! So if they stop counting he will get LESS votes.  Unfortunately the Senate has not changed...we did get a few seats but they keep the majority...and WE keep the house...

Biden is leading in AZ...and that is 11 electoral votes...would be  264...If his lead holds.  That puts him only 6 away from a win. Trump tried to say they did not get the chance to have people stand by and observe in MI, but they could have even reporters were in there with camera's so NO one would keep Trump people out just another ploy to cast doubt on the count. 

He is grasping straws and  with WI, their Attorney General  is saying Biden won by a large enough margin that the recount would not change the outcome and since it's that high of a margin, The party who wants one will have to pay for it.  Biden is leading in NV also...so that is the 6 he needs to win!

So we will know I hope soon but with all the suits....the electoral college meets on Dec 12th.  So at that time I guess we will def know!! Even tho my state was given to Trump right away....they just said on our local news the actual counting of the ballots wont be done till Friday! Soooo? Why isn't Trump contesting that?

Okay not a lot today I did ride the mower around and pick up leaves off the yard, and now I will do Mom's back yard tomorrow that is my plan anyways..

Hopefully the hard part if behind us, so nice not to see all those damned political ads on the TV while I watch the weather report!!

Our Future...

E WON'T KNOW...

Any results till THEY tell  us, whoever they are...

Sometimes I feel we are at the mercy of THEY and it would be nice to know who they are...The electoral college doesn't vote till Dec 14th.  So how can we know the results of the election tonight? Unless its such a landslide, but the last poll I saw had Biden 51% and Trump 42% So that's a close margin..
Four years ago I went to bed thinking Hillary was gonna be the President, I was SO shocked in the middle of the night when I woke up and checked the tv for the news...I just couldn't believe my ears and eyes, and I've been in that stunned state of mind since then,,,not just me but a WHOLE bunch of Americans...and then add the 4 yrs of Trump's emotional and psychological abuse..and you have a lot of people who are not coping with the reality we live in.  

Every day either by twitter or on tv news or newspapers he tells us how much he hates us, how much he will never give us one inch toward our agenda, and we do have one.  Our agenda is not about controlling other people's personal life the way their agenda is.  We want to control the tax schedule so it's fair, we want to get fair  affordable healthcare, We want good wages for everyone, we want a fair solution to the illegal immigration problem, we want fairness in the court system, we want a peaceful society where people are treated Equally under and by the law, we want NUTS who are unstable to not own guns,  we want a clean planet that we are making better and not harming.  We want freedom and separation of Church and State, we want fair Prison sentences and to stop making prisons for profit,, we want an education system based on Facts and also where theory is explored as just that theory. 

We also want a President who won't throw us under the bus and will help us when we need him and not just begin to ignore what does not make HIM LOOK GOOD.  
Im so tired of seeing him leaned and propped up at a podium on one elbow because he cant stand up straight and tall.  He slouches while he bashes US the opposition. 

They (the other side) want to stop women's choice, they want to stop US having a fair unbiased judge in court, they don't want a clean Environment, they don't want people to pay their fair share of tax, they don't want people to chose their partner in life, they don't want free Education unless it includes a religious Christian doctrine as FACT, yet is it? If you want your kid to believe in a religion then that's UP to you as a parent. They don't want immigrants, they want bullies to rule, and they want everyone to be armed and ready to kill.  They don't want equal rights. 

They won't even try to stop spreading a pandemic,,,because that impedes on their rights? Yet they will tell a woman how to handle her own body and her own future.  So they are saying, Let me or the other guy deal with my reckless behavior...yet when it's a woman's choice to do the same thing, deal with her own reckless behavior they are saying NO we want to tell you how to deal with that. 

There is no middle ground anymore but I hope and I really Believe if Biden is elected and we move the Senate  more to the left, we can come back to the center.  IF we don't then you can kiss life the way we know it goodbye...A portion of our society is very unhappy and ready to demand equality.  So that will continue to become a sore spot with a President who basically would not put down the bullies on the Highways the other day who tried to intimidate a Biden Bus, there is a thing called Road Rage, and that is what happened.  Those people should have been charged with harassment, and when you stop someone from moving freely is can be called Kidnapping in some Jurisdictions!  

So I hope those people will be brought to Justice.  I guess tomorrow we will know a little more about our future...I don't like thinking  an ogre will be telling US what to do four more years!!..I reject him now...so now one could convince me he is okay in any way tomorrow...

INTER ATTIRE RECOMMENDED...

So many things all came up at once and it peaked today...I could no longer put off 3 things so BAM, get all done before lunch time.  I was at the door of Mom's old bank at 9:30 this morning, and closed her banking account.  It's a year now so any doctor who didn't send his bill by now must not be planning to send one...
doing that closing was a sad thing for me....more endings. I thought I would burst into tears right there in the chair.  I just wanted to reach out and hold mom's hand I recalled the day we went in to have me added to her account, and this was the finale of that day it was in effect as if that day was marked....to be continued.  And now its done.  

 I was remembering all the way back to 2007 when I came to live with Mom so she could come back to her home.  She had been living with my sister and her husband but she wanted to live in her own home.  I left NY and came to get her and she and I took a trip up through New England, one more adventure for us...she helped me close down my apartment there and pack what little bit of belongs I brought with me, and we came home.  Me back to SC and her back to her home that she loved so much.  

Not much later I found out my mom had no Savings! NOT one dollar.  So I set up a savings account that was connected to  her checking account.  We sat down and went through her budget and we came up with a number of how much she could set aside into her savings account.  We went with the Way 2 Save account at Wachovia, it later became Wells Fargo.  And we put a regular transfer from checking to savings of  $30 a month  and everytime she used her debit card a $1 was transferred into the savings account also.  In no time she had money in savings...She was so proud of that and she could not believe how easy it was to do.  So today I wiped that account out and her checking account too...We spent most of that savings account to pay for her funeral.  Neither of us knew what it was we were saving for...

I recall so well the week she sold her car.  She didn't want to sell it but she got tired of paying Insurance and it just sat in the yard,  We drove it to the store occasionally to keep it moving..but mostly it sat and collected pine needles...So many endings to recall.

Next stop was to find myself a doctor.  Recall me saying the Walmart Medical Clinic had closed that is where I got my yearly blood work and prescript for my thyroid meds...so I found a place that has 3 Nurse Practitioners who wanted some patients so I filled out the paperwork and she told me to call in 48 hrs to make my first appointment..I need to get it done while I have some of my deductible paid,..
One thing that gave me pause was when I came to the line

Wow more tears, I had alway put Mom's name in that blank spot...I almost  put "None"

But I put my sister's name and her 1800 miles away Colorado phone number, no use trying to contact my son, he won't even take my calls so I know he won't take a call from anyone who he doesn't know.  

I felt so alone, I looked around the room to see if other people felt it too. But I don't think they did, each of them had someone with them a caring loved one.  

And my tires needed to be rotated, the place I normally go to I have lost confidence in them...so I went to a different place and he did it right away and the price was right..

I nearly got rear ended, me and the guy in the left lane beside me,  At the stop light I pulled up to stop but was still moving a little and the guy in the left lane was pulling a big trailer...about then I hear someone lay on the horn looked in my side mirror see a guy coming Between US ...OK there is NO LANE there but I turned the nose of my van sharply to the right and made room for this car that zoooms between us and runs the light!!   
I look over at the other driver he is shaking his head and neither of us can figure out wth just happened except he nearly hit us both! 

Mechanic found a roofing nail in one of my tires so he fixed that.  I think I will go to him in the future.   The old place I normally go when I stopped to see if he could do it, he said come back at 2:30 it was then 10:30...I really didn't want to do that he said they don't have a bay open at the moment..went to the other guy he had no bay open but he pulled a guy off a bigger job and the brought some portable jack up things out and the two of them had it ready to go in less than 20 mins! Now that I liked. 

So I cut some wood when I got home now I have a nice fire going it's COLD...I had to pull out my heavy pants, shirt, coat, socks, and gloves!  Even with my fire my feet are cold...We may get our first frost tonight...but until the tropics settle down we will get a warm up by the end of the week...

As I type 3 deer came into my field....they look so dark now with their winter coats growing in, one is a young fellow not too big at all...it's so nice I feel comfort when they are here and they were here this morning when I got up too...it's like they are part of my little world. 

November is Natl' Gratitude Month!

HO slept 12 hrs?

I did! I couldn't believe that but sure did..When I awoke I had been dreaming, and I could not move when I opened my eyes...I was  paralysed...which is what your body does when you're dreaming so I've heard, it's to protect you from hurting yourself in your sleep.  When I was younger I used to sleep walk! I actually went outside, my mom heard the front door open and she went out to find me on the porch and she grabbed me and put me back in bed.  

I did enjoy my Halloween thriller, it was very well done for the year 1943...Im not a huge fan of computer generated monsters, I'd rather see make up and believable villains. 

Tonight Im trying to do some Ancestry research but Im getting nowhere...The best way to find a long ago baby daddy is to find a boy or girl who is about the same age or with a boy a little older who lived in the proximity to each other as back in say the early 20's the main way of transportation for farm kids was by foot!! 

I have found Census reports perfect for this as they went house to house so you can see who was living close by...tonight I thought I had found the family I was looking for but in the 10 year period of the most reproductive years the family had moved to AZ, and then onto California when the Father died at age 33 in 1913, the mother remarried.  So in researching that family I found out 3 of their sons ended up in San Quentin...One for Manslaughter, did 10 yrs, and then when he got out he was 36, he died at age 48 and his two brothers were in for Burglary and they all died very young...One of TB.  He was in prison for 3 yrs got out in 1929  got married, and died in 1932 and his 22 yr old wife also.  Tragic!! Their older brother was in Prison also maybe this is why they went to CA to visit their brother in jail and ended up there themselves.  

Well Im sort of glad they were not the family I was searching for...but I bet a cousin! So I have more to checkout.  My mom was pretty good about passing on old family history but she keep the family secrets pretty much buried we had to pull those out and she only provided enough for us to use as leads...we have traced our tree back 8 generations, my sister is the real historian in our family, but I sort of got her into using the web to do much of the leg work...she used to call libraries, and state records offices and it would take days to get anywhere...so now she used the web, Ancestry, Find a Grave, Family Search and Roots Web....just to name a few.  

Somehow the Mormons have taken control of our Histories tho...so now we have to pay them to see our records...They even have the prison records on there now!  I will be happy when some more Census records open up for sure.  

Well 2 days till all HELL breaks loose in the USA..I know Trump is going to try and use the courts to PUT him in office if the numbers are too to rig and too real to steal!  I think it's going to be a landslide I have never seen so many Black voters in line as I've seen on the TV news in our neighboring towns, my County is always RED YUKKK but many of the neighboring counties are NOT...I doubt this state would turn Blue...but we sure are trying. 

It is possible GA will turn Blue, and PA, and AZ.  That's another reason I'd like to move out of this county but I've been on this old place for almost 44 yrs...that's a lot of history to walk away from. I went to visit Mom's grave today...and I cried for only an hour this time...:o(

I know it makes no sense but I stand there and I talk to her tell her about my day what's going on in my mind and I remind her of just how much I still love her.  

In 11 days it will be one year, one long miserable year without her. 

I must remember to move my clocks back I didn't bother I did do the one in my van, but I have only one clock in the main area and one in my bedroom....that's it. Ive changed my post time to midnight...

Things that go bump...

ITCHING HOUR,,,starts at 8

Just so happens Halloween comes on Saturday night and you know what that means...Svengoolie! It's cold tonight so I already have the fireplace flaming and Im all settled in to watch Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman!  From 1943!  I hope my antenna holds out lately it's been going digital on me! People morph into monsters whose faces suddenly become more scary than any Hollywood Face Off!  No wind or rain so Im hopeful no black screen.  

Looks like a good one, I've mentioned before I pick Werewolf over Vampire.  

I went shopping today for a little grub for the fridge and I got myself some pnut/chocolate clusters and I didn't even wait till trick or treat time I ate 'em already Im sure I will pay tomorrow in one way or the other...

Today about 13 crows were sitting on the fence posts and Im waiting for the sky to clear up so I can see the Blue Moon, but Im glad I saw it last night cause I don't think that's gonna happen.  

While Im waiting on 8 pm to roll around....Im catching up with my favorite Youtube channels, Cole the Cornstar is a fav of mine they are in Iowa, imagine that...Vancity Vanlife is in Vancouver, BC...Self Sufficient Me comes all the way from Southland Australia, The Common Milkweed is in middle Ohio, SUV RVing was in South Dakota today...so I feel like I've been around the world in 2 hrs.
