I know you're

ONDERING IF I WILL LIVE?

Not forever.... my bloodwork revealed Hashimoto an auto immune disease.  It attacks my Thyroid, and makes it low,..But mine was high,,,so I don't know,  some foods have to be cut from my diet,,,Bread, peppers, mushrooms, sugar, etc.   I am not gonna go all nuts about it oh yeah and nuts n beans too.

My triglycerides were a bit on the high side also...and other than that all good.
So Im taking fish oil that is Mercury free..that is what she suggested to do and adjust those things from my diet.  I've had low thyroid for nearly 30 yrs.  MY BP was ok today one thing I did is I waited outside.  I think sitting in the waiting room makes me anxious since the seats are elbow to elbow,,they should make everyone wait in the car and they text you when its your turn.

So to try and make myself feel better I went birding after I got home.  It was a pretty day today. I did see 4 or 5 of the rare Red-Cockaded Woodpeckers.  The wildlife refuge I go to has done a very good job of bringing this bird back inside the park, and I feel good about them expanding as more Longleaf Pine is being planted now for timber, will they allow the pines being planted to mature? That is the question.

I binge watched a few episodes of Ancient Aliens last evening and the episode about Nikola Tesla was so fascinating, he is the one who created electricity as we know it,,,,and he also had success with producing wireless electricity back in 1920's.  His patents are behind so much of the technology we use today including Blue Tooth.  He had also created a weapon that was more precise than the Nuclear Bomb.  His Death RAY would focus on a target and it could protect the world and therefore end wars of all kinds.  A very interesting episode.  He fell out of favor when he insisted he had been contacted by the planet Mars.

So a new strain of the virus is out of the bag, appeared in the UK.  I figured it would mutate and then become the Earth Shattering killer it has the potential to be.  Finally Mitch McConnell got off his ass and passed a covid relieve bill..so I will get $600. I sure can use it to pay all these taxes and medical bills...Personally I think they should stop all Flights period.

I had left overs for dinner,  last evening I cooked cabbage, black eyed peas, and white rice!! ...so yum to that.  Got my fire going Im already in my comfy jams...and I watching a movie that is starring Sarah Conners,  well not exactly but the actress who played Sarah Conners in Terminator.  It's a Christmas Movie.

When the stars came out I went out to see Saturn and Jupiter WOW amazing how close they are and they won't be this close for a long time again the last time was over 400 ys ago.  NOW this is another natural cycle that we are witnessing  in this 21st century...we saw the entire planetary system reset it's self in 2012.  MANY things will be happening we are not aware of because it has not happened in the time of recorded  history.  And the moon is about half full and looking good up there too.

Hope you get out there to see it for  yourself.

Into the Future!

ELL...
I haven't been very attentive to Writtin's.  Not that I haven't had anything  rattling around in my head I have, its I haven't had anything GOOD to say.  IT was a very challenging year for me,, from start to finish....

Some random ideas that have been ping ponging around in my head lately:

So 2012 is gone! That sounds like such a far away time~ when I was a kid back in the 1960's I thought there would be colonies on Mars by now.  Didn't you?
What has held us back?

We have held onto old ideas such as gasoline engines, coal burning power stations, and a 9 to 5 lifestyle. We have milked the gas and oil cow till she is nearly dry and now we are MILKING it for all its worth.  As a world population we are stagnant as the super rich control the world we live in and we continue to be players in an economy that was created to keep the upper tier rich as the rest of us struggle to make the best of the lemons  disguised as "THE AMERICAN DREAM"

I was recently reading a copy of the magazine Prevention.  By the time I finished reading it I felt doomed to a life of anguish and unanswered questions.  Headlines such as:
FATIGUE, WHAT CAUSES IT

ARE YOU IRON DEFICIENT?
WHY YOU CANT SLEEP

IS THE FOOD YOU EAT MAKING YOU SICK
HOW TO STOP BACK PAIN WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION

When I read these shock-lines I realized we Americans are a mass of sick people.  We are in constant pain both physically, emotionally, and most of all spiritually.  The American way of life is what is giving us fatigue, gives us a horrible diet, wont allow us to sleep, and creates a body riddled with all sorts of complaints.

IF we could fix the spiritual problems first that would give us the strength to deal with the emotional, and then the physical would fall into place.  WE think we are a sick society now, wait until the kids of today grow up...they are being raised by cell phones and x-boxes.  When its their turn to be the Dead Beats in the House and Senate what will be important to them?  Will they care about the natural world at all?

They had a "take your kid hunting day" here yesterday and today! SO the only time a kid is encouraged to go into the woods is to kill something? To me that is SICK!

9 to 5 keeps people enslaved.  A life is like a flash in time...when compared to the Universe  our existence is a nanosecond! We spend our most productive years working to earn money.  I was thinking of this; what if instead of retiring at 65 we retired at 50? Reason being...if people moved out of the jobforce at age 50 younger workers would move into these jobs, it would keep the tax foundation strong and steady, a young workforce is more productive, and as workers age they are more prone to disease! AS we enter into that pivotal age  we need time to work ON US, a job takes precedence.  IF we had 16 hrs a day to work on our own health, we would become healthier people! Less fatigue, less emotional issues, stronger physical bodies, and we could discover who we are spiritually! IF we wait until we are 65 years old we are pretty much at a point of no return!

...By this time workers are so beat down by the work a day life style, they    cant/dont make time for exercise, we dont make time to relieve stress, we dont have time to cook and eat right...just going to work and staying on the wheel takes all we have to give.  Not everyone is able to tap into our inner Super Man or Wonder Woman.  Some can and my hat is off to those people, but I dont want to be like them.

The Medical machine is draining us dry....if we didnt have to work away the best years of our life, we would be healthier! IT would cost US less for workers to retire early! Happy people are healthier!....IF our system included saving for the future...we could retire early! We are not told HOW important it is to save money, we are sold an "investment idea".  SAVING money is the key to financial security!  Investing is like playing the lotto.

Pay yourself first should be the most important thing we learn in high school!  But I  dont  recall a class called MONEY. The typical education is not preparing us for the REAL world we live in.
What if the classes being taught were like this:

NATURAL WORLD SCIENCE

YOUR SPIRITUAL BODY
YOUR EMOTIONAL HEALTH
YOUR BODY and HEALTH
FINANCIAL DOs and DONTs
FAMILY DYNAMICS

Maybe then we would be prepared to actually take better care of ourselves and be productive and happy at the same time.

SO on we go still rolling a square wheel uphill...all we can do is work on

ourselves and make it better one day at a time.

A Smokers Debt

HEN I get out of debt! I say that all the time, and Ive done it a few times and I guess I have been like so many others and tried to have more than I deserve! I get angry when I think about things like this-

An Internet friend is trying to quit smoking. A hard thing to do, a very powerful addictive drug to break away from. Nicotine is more addictive than heroin yet its legal? That always blows my mind. Well this friend of mine is not a rich woman, she has a disabled husband, and although she has not said so he has a respiratory disease that could be related to smoking. So they have his disability income and she runs a small shop in a flea market.

She has a very active blog she enjoys keeping up and she loves photography and so she uses her computer for most of her fun activities...and now its giving her problems. She has made the decision to try and quit smoking, kick her own habit, to save money!...How much money can she save...Check this out! TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS A MONTH...

Now let me just be the devil here and point out how so many Americans complain that the medication they are prescribed can cost as much as $200 a month...And yet there are some of those very same Americans purchasing cigarettes and they say nothing about how much it costs...let alone the costs of health care to try and offset the damage done to their lungs costing consumers trillions of dollars!

I know smokers make all kinds of excuses for their destructive behavior...they say things like,
"It's my body, I can do what I want."
"Everyone has some vice, this is mine."
"It's my business not yours."
There are many more, but the truth is they are hurting themselves and they are part of the driving force in rising health care costs to the Medicare and Medicaid system. Billions and Trillions of dollars! The reason I can say all this is Im an X-smoker!

If it were up to me, I would Ban smoking---NOW before you go writing me letters, lets just think about it. Its only legal because it brings money into the system by way of taxes and jobs..but it takes out just as much in health problems and costs to individuals and health care organizations. People say its not harming anyone---but it is--smoking causes cancer adds to heart disease, causes lung disease, birth defects, and second hand smoke can cause problems for non smokers! People use money that could be earmarked for other uses in their budgets for cigarettes! It is costing most smokers about $3000 a year to pay for their habit! Imagine if that $3,000 was put into general circulation, groceries, movies, clothing stores, books, games, computers...the list is endless, in fact that's the price of an individual retirement account! Its a credit card debt paid off!

The CEO of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co's salary for 2008 was ---
$1, 190, 350 dollars, and a bonus of $4, 243...

Wow...someone was blowing a lot of smoke!--so my friend spends $200 a month for the cheap cigarettes, thats $2400 a year, she could put that in a money market account and when she retires in 10 years she would have a nest egg of $24,000 dollars+ interest!
